A lively, American style diner with excitable staff and portion sizes that could satisfy a bear.

The Venue
Bright lights, retro posters and casual seating combine to create a family friendly venue with an American theme. The restaurant is ideally located next to Fulham Broadway tube station and is surprisingly large inside. There is a wide range of seating options and the super friendly staff will happily let you choose whether or not you would prefer a window seat or private booth.

The Atmosphere
TGI Friday’s pride themselves on their service and this particular branch is no exception. You’ll be greeted with a smile and throughout the courses you will be asked if everything is ok. The restaurant is lively and filled with the chitter chatter of conversation – creating a warm and friendly informal venue – perfect for groups of friends.

The Food
If you’re on a diet – TGI Friday’s won’t be kind to you! For starters, try the mac ‘n’ cheese bites which are delicious deep fried macaroni cheese nibbles served with a spicy tomato dip; crunchy on the outside and deliciously goey and cheesy in the centre. The wicked chicken wings are coated in a suitably spicy sauce and served with a strong and tangy blue cheese dip – strange combo, but it seems to work.

Mains are certainly not for the faint hearted as the portions are huge. The Jack Daniel’s shrimp Friday’s dish is a prawn lover’s dream with an abundance of fat, juicy prawns coated in a hot Cajun spiced batter. These are served with a portion of vegetables and large handful of perfectly cooked fries and a little pot of Jack Daniel’s sweet ‘n’ smoky glaze which is fiery, sweet and very addictive!

The steak fajita is impressive – the outstandingly tender and succulent steak pieces with vegetables arrive on the table sizzling away in their own dish, to accompany this a separate dish of hot tortilla wraps and a dish with soured cream, salsa, cheese and lettuce is also provided - so all that needs to be done is to get creative and make your own Tex Mex fajitas. Again the portion size was very large and easily enough for two people to share. If you have room, share the brownie obsession – two warm, sticky brownies coated in hot fudge sauce, vanilla ice cream with chocolate and caramel drizzle. The brownies simple melt in the mouth.

The Drink
A wide range of drinks are available here including beer, soft drinks and cocktails. Try the strawberry flavoured mojito – which was mixed to perfection and had a lovely minty aftertaste.

The Last Word
Lively, fun and informal – go here if you are hungry and want good value for money!
