Visited Thai City last night. Food was lovely, but the waitresses were so miserable. I dont think we saw a smile on either of their faces for the whole 2 hours we were there! They weren't rude, but just didn't appear to want to be there at all. It spoilt my night, as we had come down from outside London. I was even more upset when I realised that they include sevice charge in the bill!!.....It all made sense, they didnt have to even try to be pleasant, because they would be automaticaly 'tipped'

I am making it my mission to travel London and sample every single Thai place I can lay my eyes on, so of course Thai City was on the list. The blend of subtle flavours and punchy chillies was perfect, I'll definitely be heading back to thai City again.

I've never had a bad dish at the Thai City Restaurant. The food is delicious and the menu extensive - loads of authentic dishes that go beyond your usual green curries.

The restaurant itself is a lovely building with a mixture of Asian and Western decor, and the staff at the Thai City Restaurant are informative and helpful. This is a must for all lovers of Thai cuisine.
