Got taken to Thai Garden Cafe by a good friend who manages to find these gems. Have been twice and each time food was excellent, good value and staff were polite and friendly. One of the nicest things I found was that we weren't rushed or felt pressured to leave. Wine was nice and overall the price was good value. Have recommended this to friends. Good place to go to if you don't want an upmarket price but a decent meal!
Came here completely by chance when the British Museum cafes all looked full of unappealing - and we had a delightful lunch, light but tasty, stylishly presented - the steamed chicken dumplings particularly delicious - and smilingly served. The bill was also a wonderful surprise: and no one hurried us, even though we were the slowest lunch-ers in the place. Highly recommended.
Went to the the Thai Garden Cafe for a quick lunch and uncovered a real gem.
Excellent authentic and delicious Thai food, clean and bright interior, friendly staff and terrific value for money.
Will definitely go back next time I am in London.
I've been here three times now and each time the food has been absolutely delicious. The staff are friendly and each time the bill has made me do a double-take as it is incredibly cheap for the standard of food. It is well worthwhile going out of your way to come here, and I've been boring my friends going on about how much we like this place and how brilliant the food is and what marvellous value for money it is!
The Thai Garden Cafe is a little gem of a restaurant serves very authentic and delicious Thai food, even though the owner and all of the staff are Chinese. I went to the Thai Garden Cafe twice during my eight day stay in London.
Went to the Thai Garden Cafe with a group of friends a few weeks ago, and we were really impressed. The food was delicious and amazing value for money - we ended up paying £8 a head!
I'll definitely be back to the Thai Garden Cafe, and have recommended it to everyone I know!
