This is a nice restaurant to visit after theatres in Covent Garden.

The european food is a delight, service is good but you must be ready to pay good money. Its somewhere that youd go to impress your partner but not for everyday.

Worth a try.

A friend who had eaten here for dinner recommended this place and I took my sister for lunch after a hectic day of shopping in Covent Garden. The staff were very accomodating and we were very well looked after by the restaurant manager. The food was really fresh and seasonal - my slow roast belly of pork was succulent and I loved the crispy crackling. I still found room for dessert and gorged on chocolate marquise which was definitely the highlight of the meal for me. All in all a great lunch and really good value for money. I will definitely be back, if only to have more of that chocolate marquise!

Excellent place to soak up the atmosphere of Covent Garden without having to battle your way through the crowds!
The staff are very friendly and there is a lovely relaxed atmosphere in this working theatre.
There was a lunchtime time musical recital in the Paul Hamlyn Hall on the day we went which was free to go to - a great way to start the day before lunch.
The menu was great - fuss-free modern british/european food - very tasty. Would definitely go back.

Some friends and I decided to go for lunch here as it is in the heart of covent garden (I have been before) and you can have a good chat without lots of other noisy diners!
Food is unfussy and of good quality. Service is friendly with a good knowledge of the menu.
We will go back in the summer to take advantage of the beautiful terrace!

Amphitheatre Restaurant's a good place for a pre-theatre meal. There are great views out over Covent Garden too.

The menu's fairly impressive. I'd say The Amphitheatre's a nice spot for a special occasion.
