The Best Coffee
A cup of very strong, very good quality coffee is the one thing that gets us working so hard for our beloved View London. Not the riches, not the glamour and not the boss with whip in hand: just good quality coffee. There are a few spots around London that are worth recommending, so take a peek and prepare to get wired.
Shoreditch Grind
213 Old Street, Shoreditch, London, EC1V 9NR
It may be chock-full of trendies but this place right on Old Street roundabout is well worth heading to. Great coffee, some good food and even live music. Oh, and great people watching, naturally.

Nude Espresso
26 Hanbury Street, Spitalfields, London, E1 6QR
Most coffee aficionados seem to agree that this place serves some of the best coffee in London. Add to that the lovely Antipodean staff and some great bites to eat and it becomes a firm favourite - all it needs now is a few more seats.

Caravan
11-13 Exmouth Market, Clerkenwell, London, EC1R 4QD
A great spot if you're anywhere near Clerkenwell, this place knows its coffee and can tell you anything and everything about each of the varieties on offer. An impressive place with some great food too.

Monmouth Coffee Co.
27 Monmouth Street, London, WC2H 9EU
Bit of a stalwart this place, and it's ever-reliable, so if you're ever in Covent Garden and need a decent caffeine kick, head here. But do be prepared to queue - word is most definitely out.

Prufrock Coffee
23-25 Leather Lane, London, EC1N 7TE
With former World Barista Champion, Gwilym Davies, pulling the levers, this place on Leather Lane is a regular haunt of ours when we're after our caffeine fix. Excellent beans and a cool, laid-back atmosphere keep us coming back.

Flat White
17 Berwick Street, Soho, London, W1F 0PT
The food at this impressive little Soho cafe is well worth trying but the coffee is even better; you can even get tasting notes for it. How grand. Thankfully their eponymous tipple is every bit as good as it should be - and not served lukewarm, like so many others seem to be.

Lantana
13 Charlotte Place, Soho, London, W1T 1SN
Another one with some impressive food, Lantana serves up some of the best coffee in London too - blame the Antipodean influence behind the scenes. A great flat white awaits for those that like that kind of thing, but our favourite is the plain and simple long black, for it is very good indeed.

Niven's
157 King's Cross Road, King's Cross, London, WC1X 9BN
Union Coffee roasted to perfection by the friendly little man behind the counter on his high-spec machine. A great little spot, and handily near our new office. Oh, and the food is pretty darn swell too.
