I had lunch here a couple of times and found the food really good, the waiters kind, very attentive and competent and the atmosphere enjoyable, although it gets a bit loud inside when the place is full, due to lack of sort furnishing all round, but certainly a change for the better from the previous establishment!
I shall certainly attend again, but would recommend the owner to choose their management a bit more carefully, if not replace the existing ones completely!
I didn't book the first time and had no problem getting a table at all, whilst I reserved the second time, showed up with my guests 10 minutes early and we were made to wait at the bar because the reservation had not come up yet (?), notwithstanding the fact that the restaurant was half empty inside!
And all throughout we had to put up with their slight attitude and really silly excuses on why they couldn't even sit us at the table I asked for at the time of my phone booking and the fact that the same table remained empty for at least an hour after we got seated elsewhere…….

Overall, the place is a hit with food, service, location and atmosphere, but the existing management must go!

I have dined there on a couple of occasions as I live just around the corner and couldn't disagree more with this review be more pleased. whatever day of the week it is, I have found the service to be very attentive and the food amazing, very seasonal and good quality, I have had the foie gras and found the flavours moulded really well together, the design of the restaurant is flawless as well, the back wall looks amazing.
Cocktials are to die for and so is the wine, well worth a visit!

I live around the corner too and love the fact that there is no longer a dingy pub on the corner. the food is seasonal and fresh if a little simple but the cocktails enjoyed whilst you watch the world wag by on a friday night are something else. My only issue isue was a smoker beside my window table, but waiter kindly asked them not to, so problem solved. We rarely book but usually manage to get a table although we had to wait 45 minute for a table of 4 last weekend. Will book next time as it seems to be constantly busy. - Report
