My friends and I return to The Berkeley for Pret A Portea every six months to sample their latest collection of fashion themed delicacies, based on the latest runway collections.

They are always gorgeously presented and divine to eat, while the service is first class.

In addition to the delicate, and beautiful cakes and biscuits, you are also treated to an endless supply of sandwiches and savouries, plus as much of a huge selection of tea as you can drink.

The Pret a Portea is such an ingenious twist on the afternoon tea format! A truly decadent way to spend an afternoon, can't recommend it enough!

My friend took me to The Caramel Room for their Pret-a-Portea, against my wishes I may add, and I actually found myself thawing to the idea of such pretentious delicacies. I think the main reason was the fact that everything looked and tasted amazing. I'd definitely give The Caramel Room a go, particularly if you love cakes.
