I had read some good reviews and thought I would go and check out The Club Bar & Dining. The restaurant served very good food and the staff were helpful, attentive and extremely courteous. The food was the true speciality, especially the mouth-watering chocolate brownie that melted in my mouth. My boyfriend adored the sea bass, saying it was cooked to perfection, myself, as I am not a huge fan of fish it was not my first choice, I was however very pleasantly surprised by how delicious the fish turned out to be. I chose the chicken livers with bacon and sweet and sour onions. Fantastic. Good wine list and all very reasonably priced. On the whole, the night was a huge success and the restaurant is highly recommendable.

I went to The Club Bar & Dining last week having read so much about it in the press. I was particularly curious about their new Ceviche Bar. The ceviche couldn't have been more perfect, I couldn't believe it. I had the cod with roast tomatoes and chive butter sauce and my boyfriend had the calves liver with the battered onion rings and spring greens. It was all so delicious. The staff were very attentive which was great and the best bit of all – it’s very reasonably priced. I thoroughly recommend it, a real find.

Nice looking place, service was slow, portions were a good size although very salty pasta, but on Shrove Tuesday no pancakes were served until the evening - did not mention that in the website! shame as we (9) people were looking forward to some - and as we are office workers cannot go back in the evening - a real shame as the food we ordered took so long to arrive (only one waiter serving) could have been a quicker more profitable lunchtime trade for them!

I think The Club Bar & Dining is a great spot. The food is always good and the menu offers a really nice selection of light bites and more substantial meals. It's perfect for meeting mates, having something to eat and then enjoying a few drinks and a bit of a boogie, if you fancy it. I've always found the staff to be friendly and last time I was there a very cute guy behind the bar commented on my shoes. What's not to like about that? I really rate this place - it looks good, it's fun and a quality night out.

A bar in the centre of town, where they make you feel the centre of attention. Simply a metropolitan local for people who want a comfortably cool experience.

I have dined at The Club Bar & Dining on a number of occasions and I have always thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
The food is tasty, comforting and innovative.
The wines are superb with a lengthy selection to suit all.

It's the perfect place for drinks with your mates after work, entertaining people watching or for those slightly more important business meetings when you want to impress!

A restaurant critic friend recommended I check out The Club Bar & Dining, as he was so impressed by his recent experience. The ambience is cool and classy and whilst the restaurant was packed, the bar area had a chilled out vibe. Cocktails are well made by experienced bartenders, and make an excellent precursor to dinner.

As a starter I tried the Smoked Chicken and Bacon Caesar Salad - always a good barometer by which to judge a restaurant. It was delicious with just the right amount of dressing and topped with a perfectly poached egg. This was followed by the Lobster Linguine: a perfectly balanced, filling dish which matched beautifully to the Overstone Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand which was recommended by our waiter. Overall, a 10 out of 10 night out.

I've been to the Club Bar & Dining several times now. It's great for a light lunch and particularly good in the evenings with a group in one of the booths upstairs, or for a party in the cocktail bar downstairs. I've been really impressed with the menu, with some good specials and seafood dishes. Plus the wine list is excellent and affordable. I'd recommend the NZ Sauvignon and the SA Pinotage! On top of this the service has always been friendly and efficient. I'll definitely be going back.

I went to The Club Bar and Dining for the first time last week and often go out in Soho. I thought the atmosphere was terrific and the wine was very nice - not the normal cheap tasting stuff that ensures a hangover next day.

The waiting staff were very slow and we sat without drinks for half an hour after ordering and that was with asking several times where our drinks were. Overall, The Club Bar and Dining well worth a vist.

The expectations were pretty low when we saw previous reviews of Club Bar & Dining. In fact we were positively looking forward to the entertainment value it would surely provide. I guess you could say therefore that our expectations were met fully. The waitresses were wonderfully rude and unhappy.

The service at Club Bar & Dining was non-existent, as was the atmosphere! We did not pay the service charge which seemed to come as a surprise to the waiter in charge who is still in complete denial of its awfulness despite several savage reviews. The best comparison would be the dining room in Faulty Towers, with both rudeness and incompetence on a similar scale.

Club Bar & Dining was one of the most unpleasant dining experiences of my life. A group of us had booked in advance for the pig roast. We arrived on time, and the food didn’t arrive for an hour. As we were just finishing our meal we were asked to move, claiming we had been told this when we booked.

For them to expect us to have eaten our meal and leave in one hour is ridiculous. The Club Bar & Dining manager grew increasingly rude while offering us petty incentives of a bottle of champagne to move downstairs, with no table to sit at. He then told us we were being f***ing awkward!

Then they tried to charge us for all the trimmings that accoompanied the pig, at a not insignificant £230. After much more arguing and abuse from the manager we eventually got a reduction in our bill but by then the whole evening was pretty much ruined and we were all in a foul mood.

We had to wait an hour for a table at The Club Bar & Dining despite having booked and then were offered two tables of six instead of a table of 12. We had to order from a limited set menu which had no prices on it and by the time we were seated most of the options had run out. We actually had to ask twice for someone to take our drinks order.

The Club Bar & Dining staff were rude and unhelpful, and when we complained they said it was just as bad for them as they had to work there! The whole night was a disaster and although they gave us champagne as an apology, they'd need to go a lot further than that to tempt us back!

The Club Bar & Dining is a pretty cool bar, salubriously decorated with friendly management. I assume it's fairly new as the table service was neither smooth nor efficient. When downstairs do not approach the bar as you will be advised to sit down - perfect if your drinks arrive within ten minutes, in this case though thirst set in on several occassions.

The bar manager to his credit acknowledged the teething problems and assuming they have been ironed out I would recommend The Club Bar & Dining for drinks after work, take the time to call and reserve a booth. Prices were standard and the music was excellent at times.

I can't recommend The Club Bar and Dining enough although I'd really like to lie about it as at the moment it's a well kept secret. Apparently the head barman is from The Soho Hotel which explains why the cocktails at The Club Bar and Dining are so delicious! Keep it under your hat - I want to still be able to get a seat!

The Club Bar & Dining looks really cool. I keep going past on my way to the local and am very intrigued as to what it's going to be like. The Club Bar & Dining kind of implies that it does everything under one roof, so hopefully its not like Tiger Tiger.
