Read the great reviews and wanted to go to The Dollhouse for my birthday on Saturday (28th April). Emailed to find out what night it was, and what time to turn up to ensure we got in. Was told to arrive at 10pm, so we would get in as there can be a long queue. Arrived at 10pm and queued for 1 HOUR 30 MINS in the freezing cold pouring rain to get in! The queue was hardly moving, but no surpirses, as soon as it past 11pm, they were more than happy to start letting people in so they could charge £20! Not only was i soaking wet, but i practically had to cry to be let in to use the toilet and come back out to join the queue again! Found the staff so rude, ignorant and full of attitude, and will NOT be going back again!
Me and my friends were very much looking forward to our night in The Dollhouse, after reading the great review. Booked a table for 6pm and confirmed twice on the phone left all my details and was all set. You can understand my disappointment when we arrived there in good spirits to a closed sign. On making our way down the open door to find out what was happening, we were met with what looked like the place being refurbed, glass everywhere, carpets up and a thick cloud of dust in the air. The staff then proceeded to look bewildered and tell us that they were closed but due to open at 8 so if we wanted to wait 2 hours and come back, we could get a complimentary drink! No email, no phone call to tell us - nothing
I don't think I will try again after this. Which is a shame as the reviews have been great.
This is an amazing place! Have visited several times and simply can't get enough of it!!! xx
Went for Shake It Down for my birthday and see Boy George DJ'ing. What an amazing night! BG was ledge on the decks and the other dj's didn't disappoint. Will be sure to go to Shake It Down again!! Thanks for making it a special night and the jelly beans, popcorn and candy floss were cool! xx

I was down for the weekend at the beginning of December, and I can honestly say that I have not been to such a unique night spot.
The place was buzzing and this resulted in a fantastic atmosphere.
I got speaking to a couple of guys who turned out to be the owners and they were really nice guys who clearly had a passion for the place.
I hope this place continues to thrive and I will definately re-visit , when i'm next in London.
I am a 30 year old Male and the club caters for all ages.
Once again I would highly reccomend this venue for a fun night out.
Had a lovely night at The Dollhouse, great venue, dancing all night to great music, service very good. This venue is something a little different from the norm. I urge you to go and see for yourselves!!
I went to the dollhouse for the fats cats Halloween night and it was soo good. Its a little small, but a very cool venue. Both bars had excellent service, the barmaids were friendly and the music had everyone up on their feet-great tunes. I will defiantly be back for round two!!
This place doesn't even deserve one star! Absolute MISTAKE to waste an evening here. It is filthy and desperately needs a refurbishment, music system is rubbish it is extremely small and just doesn't promote a fun atmosphere. I was very disappointed! P.S. BEWARE OF THE TOILETS!
Had a fantastic night!! The Dolly Rockers were certainly rocking the joint and I danced all night. Great atmosphere and a real quirky and trendy looking haunt. One of a kind. Will certainly be back for more cocktails and will definitely spread the word.
Does that mean the normal music/DJs are there still?
Fantastic venue, has to be seen to be believed. A little hidden treasure in the heart of The City. Amazing acts and music on Thursday Tassel Club night. It is a 'must' for anyone who enjoys the true art of Cabaret.
Over priced & Not busy. Has this changed owners? Not fun!
What a night, great music from the Dolly Rockers, where do they get the energy from? Service with a smile from real life dolls and a couple of fit guys too. I'll be back.
