I had to send back my Spanish Omlette because it was not a Spanish omlette! After talking to the staff it became clear that none of them had any idea what a Spanish omlette is. They have "Spanish Omlette" and also "Omlette" on their menu. Since my "Spanish" Omlette looked just like an ordinary Omlette, I asked them what the difference is. They said that one has chips and other has potatoes ... I said, I am not asking about the filling, but about the Omlette itself. They then said, "Omlette is Omlette". Now, I would not mind if they had said they had Omlette with a "Spanish filling" and defined that as potato etc. The main point is however that they had no idea that a Spanish Omlette is not cooked like an ordinary Omlette - it is not even cooked in the same sort of pan! They were quite hostile when I tried to discuss it with them and refused to let me know when I could speak to a manager.

The Embankment Cafe is a great place to grab some lunch if you're visiting the gardens. My wife and I popped in for a quick bite to eat and sitting there when the sun came out felt just like summer. I can imagine that The Embankment Cafe is great in the summer - the perfect place to enjoy the beautiful gardens.
