The monkfish and chorizo combination is just one dish is highly recommended and the side dish of dauphinoise potatoes are an absolute must. The specials change daily so there is every excuse to go back and sample the rest of the menu.

The pudding selection features with homemade sorbets and ice creams accompanying tasty interpretations of banoffee pie, treacle tart and chocolate sponge puddings. The Garrison offers the drinks you would expect at any good bar but delivered in such a way that even the most eager drinkers will want to savour every sip. Some may decide to stick with the classic gin and tonics though, as it’s hard to be weaned off the Garrison G&T should you choose that as your pre-dinner drink.
