This restaurant is seriously 5 STAR...from service, interior, food to presentation. I had a really amazing dining experience there and the price surprised me too. Its not that expensive for a high quality place like this. I ordered the hand dive sashimi scallop for my starter, pan fried sea bass for main course and a slice of pistachio cake with rhubarb for dessert. All that 3 courses were Oh My God..so delicious. Great presentation, great taste, seriously you have to try yourself! Service was very good. A service that you can get from a 5 star hotel. I will definitely go back again.

The Glasshouse is a superb restaurant in every sense and is well worth the £35.00 per head set meal price. The food is sumptuous contemporary European fare, the type where the portions seem small but is very big on taste.


The decor is all modern understated chic and subtle lighting. The Glasshouse waiters can somehow sense that you may be considering that you might need them and they immediately appear at your disposal.

I totally agree with this review of The Glasshouse. Kew is a lovely place to live and The Glasshouse is just the restaurant to go to if you fancy an upmarket meal out where the food is going to be fabulous. I live nearby, so I should know!
