I was very idle in The Idle Hour - it's a great place to kick back and relax with a few drinks and friends. Luckily I have friends from Putney so I manage to get to the Idle Hour quite a lot now and not once have I had a bad time.

A group of us went to The Idle Hour for my birthday, and what a good choice it was. Good organic food (everyone who had the lobster and chips really loved it) and really nice wine. Whoever said organic wine doesn't give you a hangover didn't drink as much as we did.


The Idle Hour was busy, and didn't close till two, but the staff made a real effort and we got a round of free shots!

My boyfriend treated me to a meal at Idle Hour this Valentines Day. We had never been before but always like the look of the place.

The atmosphere was lovely, the service was brilliant, but my meal was pretty disappointing. Idle Hour is a fantastic venue to chill out with friends with wine and nibbles, especially if you don't want to go home early. Its open til 2am at the weekends, but doesn't turn into a loud, sticky mess after 11pm like most places. Definitely worth a visit.

The Idle Hour is very civilised, perfect for taking the parents or the girlfriend for a hearty lunch. I really like the atmosphere in The Idle Hour too, bon indeed!
