The Living Room is the perfect place to take a mixed group of friends, as it is neither too adventurous, nor too middle of the road. The menu is varied enough to suit all tastes and very reasonably priced. The eating area is bright, spacious and airy, and with it's central location and huge glass front, The Living Room is perfect for watching the street activity outside. The lights are dimmed in the bar area where you can order one of the many fabulous cocktails The Living Room offers, and the Grand Piano and quirky carpeted walled toilet cubicles, give it that extra twist of ambience that you wouldn't find in other restaurants of this calibre. A perfect place for a night out with a mixed group, or lunch and cocktails with the girls.

Very good atmosphere, fun and lively, went for drinks and some food after work. friendly staff food was good but not great. But great to meet friends to chat and have some drinks after work and stay through the night, and great bathrooms!

We stumbled upon this venue last night whilst out Christmas shopping in town. The waitress found us a table for two but told us that they were expecting another booking in 1 hour 20 minutes time. We decided this gave us plenty of time and took our seats. From the outset it seemed very noisy almost as though the music was too high making people shout - not very nice atmosphere when you are trying to eat. The service was very prompt and the waitress quite pleasant, although was this just because they were trying to hurry us out to prepare for the next booking?
It was very packed, so obviously quite popular, but to be honest for what we had to eat and then a bill of £65.00 I am not sure it was worth it, and then to bung a 12.5% service charge on top of the bill topped the experience off. We will probably not be going back to Living Room W1.

We booked the Living Room last minute for our office party, and to be fair It must be one of the most boring venues in central London. Over-priced and full of grey people, being served by staff who don't really care, as they must know not many people will ever come back again. Seeing as you're spoiled for choice with a multitude of far better places in the area.

I went to The Living Room W1 on a Friday night. I'll start with the good points, it's a nice venue looks wise with lots of bar staff so I didn't have to wait to get served and the toilets were clean and funky.

Now to the bad point, I'm not a tight person but I find £6.30 for a glass of white wine a bit of a p*ss take! Also beware that if you're paying by card you have to spend over £10 - though I suppose that's not hard to do in this place! The music was very lame for a Friday night so don't go to The Living Room if you're fancying a dance.

The Living Room is another bar that leaves me cold. It's nice enough but there's nothing warm about it and it certainly doesn't remind me of a living room!

The Living Room W1 has hit the nail on the head with it's chilled atmosphere and great food. I went to Living Room W1 one Sunday lunch and ended up spending most of the day there, it was that nice!
