We came to Loop for my friends Hen do that I was arranging. The girl on the phone who helped me organise it was so helpful and when we all arrived at the bar everything ran smoothly. The food in the restaurant is fantastic, the atmosphere in groovy wonderland was perfect for the theme of the night but it was nice to have the choice of bars and different music. It was very busy but the bar staff were very friendly and quick given how busy it was. Overall we all thoroughly enjoyed our night and will definitely return!!

We recently visited Loop after another venue double booked my friends birthday. The staff here could not be more helpful! From the girl on the phone, the bar staff and even the bouncer!

They squeezed us in last minute, we had a good sized area, complete with decorations. Service at the bar was prompt and the music was great. It might look small from the outside, but there are 3 floors. A hidden gem!

Thank you to all the staff at Loop last night for making our Xmas function quality. This is second time we have come here as it has everything under one roof for a company Xmas party.Well organised with the tables and bringing of food.Even bar staff afterwareds were quick and polite.I don't usually bother writing reveiws as when looking at places to go there are always negatives on every club and restaurant and you never know what ones are genuine and what are just employees!!I would recommend Loop every time..Music in main bar better than old stuff downstairs!! (just my opinion)Thanks also to Laura and Tess in the office dealing with original booking for being so patient as I kept changing things!!!!

Booked a few nights here for the Groovy Wonderland section, and on each occasion something has gone wrong. The problem is the person taking the booking is not necessarily the person who is at the Loop on the night. Asking to see the Manager is useless, as whoever you ask says: "I will go and get her" and they never return. I would not want to book a specific package, as, when I have they do not seem much different from each other in terms of food quantity.

It is indeed a "sweat box" as another reviewer has said, and getting served at the bar is very difficult.

It's a shame the DJ does not change the music each week, when we went for 3 weeks in a row, we knew exactly what songs he would play and in which order!

We made the best of the situation when we attended on each night and enjoyed ourselves, but I would not recommend The Loop to anyone.

I will NEVER go here again. Celebrated a joint birthday here got £500 woth of packages and did not receive everything and they will not give me a part refund!! They are offering for me to come back and they will give me the things that were missing but after the first night why should I go back. To top everything off it was an absolute sweat box in here, too many people with no air con. A total let down and a disappointment to my birthday!!!

I would just like to say I had thee best birthday ever! I went to the Loop Saturday Night for my 25th Birthday with a group of 15 friends. I booked a table for Groovy Wonderland and decided for a birthday package. The dj played the classic Stevie Wonder Happy Birthday as 3 smiling and dancing staff brought over cupcakes with a huge sparkler and shots all round. I even got a confetti fountain. The overall night was fantastic from start to finish, getting walked to our table by a host and managers coming over to ensure we were having a great time, and the quick and friendly bar service, I felt like a vip. I would recommend The Loop to anybody who wants a fun packed night. Thanks for making my Birthday special, Jess

I dont normally write these, and if I do it would normally be to complain, but this place was different class.I Went there on Weds Night for a quiet drink after work and it enjoyed it soo much I took my workmates back there on the Weekend! The place seems small from the outside but has 4 bars over 3 floors, playing everything from current charts to the cheesy stuff that I can only dance to when I have had a few beers. It was really busy on Friday in particular but everyone seemed friendly, unlike most of the bars near Leicester Square that I usually frequent. Was having a drink outside, only to be approached by a stunning waitress (I must get her number next time!) telling us that it was only 10 minutes before Happy Hour had finished where all drinks were half price!! THAT INCLUDES ALL CHAMPAGNE!! Luckily there were loads of staff so I didnt have to wait too long. The end of the night is a bit of a blur to be honest, but I remember that it was a great night and a venue I would recommend to anyone who is listening!

Oh what a night.......
Me and a few of my friends went to The Loop last night, originally just for dinner. However we stayed on, The Groovy Wonderland with the flashing dance floor was far tooooo tempting. Dancing staff and cocktails in pineapple's it was a fantastic Thursday night.

Went for my Girlfriends Birthday last week and she had the best time ever which obviously made my night go that little bit easier. I paid for a party pack and we were given cakes, sparklers, sweets and a massive cocktail out of a birthday cake.

I must say despite some poor reviews of door in london, i thought the bouncers here were pretty good, They said hello when we got there, said goodbye as we left and helped me get a taxi as well, which is a lot more than i get from where i normally go out up here in the north. There were 25 of us in total and apart from one that had to cut the night short (unable to handle the flow of sambucca) we all had a great night and will def be back for the next occasion in London, however dur to living in Derby, its not so convenient to travel on a weekly basis.

I recently went to Loop for a friends Birthday and had a great night. We had booked a booth on the middle floor and were taken over immediately on arrival. There were people sat at our table when we were taken over but the girl showing us through soon moved the other party for us. The music was great at the start of the night, however we did find our selves in thge 70s and 80s room for the latter part of the night drinking cocktails from giant fruit. Awesome touch.
It was my first time at the bar and they seem to add all the little extra touches, such as professional girls dancing in 80's gear, themed cocktails and best of all all drinks were half price from when we arrived until 8pm, i think the deal started at 5.
Shall be popping along next Friday for a cheeky few on the way home from work thats for sure.

Went here on a Saturday night recently and it was all fantastic!!! We celebrated our friend's Birthday and they made a really big deal out of him bringing cupcakes, sparklers and everything else. The table was all decorated when we got there and we were shown down by a really nice girl. Right from the original enquiry to the feedback call the Monday after was great. The atmosphere is great and the staff amazing and very friendly plus helpful.

Perhaps easily the worst experience in Central I've ever had, and to top it off it was my mates birthday.
Firstly a few of us (bday boy included) came early and were waiting for other people to arrive. We approached the doormen and said we had a guest list booked for around 15 people both girls and guys. He didn't let us in because we were all guys, which is usual for London so we waited outside.
Then 3 of the girls turned up and there were 4 of us. We then approached the bouncer and, again he didn't let us in, claiming we did not know these girls and how we have basically picked them up from the street. It didn't make the slightest difference what we said.
Feeling so insulted 2 people left straight away.
30 mins passed and finally the rest of the party arrived. Even when we were approaching the door the doorman shouts, "you're still not getting in". Utterly ridiculous. We finally persuaded the doorman to let the bday boy and his mates into the bar and then he had the cheek to charge us £5 on a Thursday night (supposed free on their website). I turned round and walked out.

All in all it seems the bouncers employed at Loop are uncultured prats which from what I heard the day after, is a trait that continues all the way to the bar staff. Why should I need to beg to get into some 3rd rate bar when I'm doing THEM a favour by spending my money inside? So unhappy especially as it was my mates bday. Dear all reading this: go to Strawberry Moons off regent street, it's 10 times better.

The loop bar seemed OK when we first got in apart from the smell in there, it smelt like a toilet was blocked on something.
we had booked a seating area so we got straight in, no messing around with the door staff (great)
We had booked a seating area for 15 people, when shown to our area you couldn't fit 5 people never mind 15, i spoke to the staff and she just said that's the way it is, i paid £30 deposit for our seating area so i wasn't happy to hear that.

The bar staff was very pleasent and the staff that where dancing or on skates was also great and welcoming, the music could have been better but the Dj repeated the songs quite a lot and was far too loud.

Overall it starts out ok but then becomes very boring, over crowded, the drinks are very expensive and i know there is much better places to go to in the west end then The Loop Bar.

I won't be going back there again...!

Went to the loop for a nice drink somewhere different. Had such a good time. Got there for happy hour which made my night cheap and cheerful.

First floor was a quiet bar playing up to date music, the second the same music but more lively. the 3rd was a 70's and 80's club which is where I spent most my night. Had such a good time though some songs where repeated.

The people at the bar were pretty much all workers from the city having a good time with some younger people like myself around 20 but responsible with drinks so no fights happened.

very good night out would recommend getting there for happy hour then moving on at about 1ish to a proper night club.

P.s do not order a jug of sea breeze cocktail! Awful taste that stays in your mouth.

Besides smelling like ass, the loop was full of drunken chavs and extremely rude bar and door staff. I waited for over 30 minutes to get a drink from the highly incompetent,
bitchy bar 'babes'. The food was also terrible and the overbearing music made it impossible to carry a conversation. I agree with most of the other reviewers here, there are far better places in central london for a good night out. Don't waste your evening at the loop.

Been to the Loop twice in the last few weeks - once on a Thursday night for food and after work drinks (happy hour 5-8 makes it so cheap!) and a Saturday night.
Both times I emailed regarding booking a table - a member of staff emailed me back straight away and helped me out, very impressed with level of service.
There weren't any tables left for the Sat eve (I was enquiring on the Monday before) but turns out I wouldn't have wanted one anyway - after getting there I danced from 11pm right through to whatever time it closed - great music, nice atmosphere, just the right level of cheese, no pretentiousness... Will defo be going again!

I hadn't been to the Loop since its refurbishment and i was very impressed!!

From the booking process, to the service and even the guy that called us a taxi... everyone was fantastic and made my birthday very special! We had a booth booked in the Opal bar but the Groovy Wonderland was also fantastic - particularly liked the glittery gloves!

Me and my friends will definitely be back!

Went to the Loop this weekend after hearing some good things from friends...what an awesome night! Its had some sort of refurb recently and they've created a retro 70's 80's club in what used to be a dark dingy area...very studio 54!

Skater girls delivering drinks served ion fruit dancers doing routines...absolutely fantastic!Looking forward to going again soon!

I had organised a friend's leaving party at The Loop as I had organised a leaving party at one of their sister bars a few weeks before and was impressed with them so wanted to try The Loop to mix it up.

I was disappointed though as for £20 you only get a reserved area and cannot redeem the deposit against a bar tab (which you can do at some of their sister bars).

We did get a complimentary bottle of wine and some balloons to decorate the area in the middle floor bar, but when we arrived we had to shoo away some people who had set up camp there before our arrival, despite it being reserved.

The music in the middle floor bar was OK, but the atmosphere was rather flat. We later abandoned our area and went downstairs to the club.

The music here was so loud it hurt your ears which was no fun at all. If I were to come here on a night out with just a couple of friends without having organised an area, then it would have been OK.

But if you are organising a big night out with reserved areas, I strongly suggest that you look elsewhere before going here - all of their other bars offer much better area deals and have better customer service.

A fair 2 stars I'm afraid.

I went to the Loop a few weeks ago on a Saturday night for a friends birthday. They had a special offer on - all drinks were half price, which was great. However, I wasn't particularly impressed. It took about half an hour to get served. The bar woman was a complete airhead who took half an hour serving each person. I finally spoke to one of the other bar people who came over and served me eventually. Music was pretty good - cheesy stuff downstairs and R&B upstairs. It was very packed. But a good atmospehere. Because of the bar staff experience, I don't think I would go there again.

Just got back from a night out at Loop. It was my first time and i was totally blown away by the music and atmosphere in the club. I had no great expectations and assumed i would be dancing to the same old stuff every other club plays. The DJ kept me going until 3am and i was planning on leaving by 1 !

The bar staff were great and it didnt take long to get served. Drink prices were ok - slightly cheaper than other clubs ive been to in London.

Finally - if your planning on going to Loop on Saturday then it was totally rammed but there seemed to be no air conditioning so either dress with less or take a towel !!

Over the past 4 weeks, each weekend I’ve been to SWAY, THE LOOP, ON ANON and ABACUS!- SWAY has the best venue and music to club to.- THE LOOP is a great place for drinks and the staff are very friendly.- ON ANON is a good venue but staff are rude, would have to be forced to go again.Lastly and the very least:- ABACUS, never again.

Saturday night at The Loop is a great night! Every track was great dance music and we rocked the whole night. There was no long queue to get in , the drinks were served quickly, there's an efficient cloakroom, no trouble, it's busy but not crushed and everybody seemed to be there to enjoy the night.

NYE '07 and this place was the real party site! Sexy ladies and beautiful guys in an awesome place. The pre-paid ticket was certainly worth the price paid for - after having the succulent 3-course meal (well-presented as well!), the atmosphere just went from good to better to best as the evening progressed. Really a party, party, party all night long atmosphere. Credit goes to the music and DJ as well - for really bringing the house down at the basement level. Although I sympathise with those who were massively queueing outside (though tickets were also bought), really felt fortunate we came in quite early! Goes to show how a popular place could really leave no space unoccupied - sorry but it appeared that everybody just wanted to be here! Recommendable, you ask? I need not answer.

Do not go to this place unless u r lookin for disappointment!!!
After my friends and I had brought NYE tickets did not even get into the club after queuing for an hour to be told they had over sold on tickets & were full to capacity. Was met by nothing but unorganization, staff that were rude and clearly did not know what they were doing. Showed no compassion for their error & when I glanced through the door, inside looked like a dive with broken glass all over the floor. I agree with kingyo- very money hungry with no thought for us as customers 0/10!!!!

Avoid like the plague. If I could remove the star I would. 0/10. The New Years Eve party we (3 couples) spent 50 minutes queuing in the rain (even though we pre paid for tickets) to be told at 11.50pm they were not letting any guys in as they had too many. We were patient and fun standing in the rain but the door staff were the rudest most unhelpful I've come across and I'm out weekly. Never going back or recommending to any one. Just pure greed on their behalf. Don't bother.

What a pile of sh1t. Went last night and the busiest, rudest, crappest club i've ever been to in London, over an hour queue for your coat at the end of the night meant having to leave it there. Bouncers are fools and basically the club was just too greedy trying to cram as many people in as possible at £10 a go. One would for this place, wank.
