I went for my birthday a few Wednesdays ago and even though I wasn't a member I rang up and they ran a guest list for me.
On the night the music was fantastic and the bar was buzzing. Service was fast and friendly and the cocktails, although pricey, were delicious! They're pretty strong too.
The bar was full of cool people including loads of celebs!
All in all we had a great night and I will deifnitely be going back in the future - now that the door policy is a lot more friendly this is defintiely the place to go.
I went to the Met Bar last week with a group and had a fantastic time. Although it's a members-only bar, I contacted them before hand and once we had been vetted my friends and I were put on the guest list for the evening. We went down quite late, about midnight and the bar was buzzing. The DJs were amazing playing a great mix of electro-pop and rock, we couldn't stop dancing! The cocktails aren't cheap (£11.50), but they were absolutely delicious - and you only need a couple to be well on your merry way! The service was great and we had the best night - we will definitely go back. I'm now applying for membership so I can go whenever I want - fingers crossed!

Me and a few friends went round a month ago on a saturday night, the staff were very friendly and the DJ was playing real great tracks.. good old rock and roll which is so rare in the sorts of clubs i go too which is a shame.. does he play every Saturday??
I had a really good experience at the Met Bar- it was a great atmosphere for a relaxed drink, loved the decor and the mood lighting. Great cocktails and food too, a must do!
did my bday bash at met bar last nite...hv 2 say i was pleasently surprised. kinda small...but all top bars r small (apart from carbon). music was great...a very good mixture of house, hip hop/rnb and 80's club classics! service was also great...and tha staff were very friendly! my guests and i had no problem gettin in...and once inside were treated very well. and most importantly every1 had a great time! definately gonna go back!
They have DJs every Thu Fri & Sat and on an occassional basis have live music now. Cool, small & loud. Depending on the DJ you can have a great night. Still a strict members' bar only.
