What a complete lack of character!!
The venue used to be good and much busier a couple of years ago. Don't know what happened to it but now it all looks like it needs a new management. It needs painting from outside, redecorating and new furniture inside as it looks really miserable . A pint is over £3.60 and you still may get charged £5 on the door after 10pm even if there's no band or dj. At least the friendly stuff make up for it a bit. The venue has almost perfect location but it looks like it cannot really decide what exactly it wants to be.
The arguing "couple" were not and never have been a "couple"!
Oh Bar, i have taken more and more of my friends there over the past year and they keep going back, Thursday, Friday are great but Saturday night is the best. The atmosphere is so relaxed, everyone is friendly, security are top notch, bar staff are very quick on their feet. It's a pity they are so quick to pick up your drink before you have finished drinking it though. The Thai food is very good, you get so much for the money, very good value.
I only have one problem about the place and that is the ventilation. Either the owners are meanfully not sorting out the air con because they want you to buy more drinks or they can't afford it. It gets so hot that the windows steam up, you have to keep going outside for fresh air and if you are a non smoker like me it is murder as everyone outside is smoking and that is the only place to stand unless you want to go to the back of the queue to get back in. Someone sort it out please! The variety of music and great people keep the place bubbling. Keep up the good work.
Saturday night reggae....OK if you like the Wild West. OK if you don't mind the smashed window, posters done in marker pen, paper posters that are falling down advertising the VIP area.
All round scary, dodgy atmosphere. £5 was a bit steep but watching a screaming couple having a full on domestic in his and hers shirts was worth paying to get in to see. {The shirt looked better on her}.
There are around 20 doormen in there and it's a small venue which should tell you something.
The music didn't flow and most people were hostile and glaring at everyone else.
Not much fun. Apart from the fight.
The Oh! Bar is a great venue for live bands. A band from Hertfordshire called Dr.8Ball playing there were amazing. I will definitely go and see them again if they're on at the Oh! Bar.
Oh! Bar has live bands for free, and not many London venues offer that, as well as cheap booze! I saw a good punky band there called Dr 8ball. I would definitely go back to Oh! Bar again.
Oh my this club has the right name. I went to Oh! Bar for my 26th on the 9th December and me and my freinds had such a great time. The music was great, the people were freindly, and I would go again. But most importantly the drinks at Oh! Bar were a cheap price.
Bar staff at Oh! Bar are great fun. Professional security. Cool atmosphere. Good music at Oh! Bar. Shame about the attitude of the staff in the loos...
