The Queens is not quite what it used to be and if you are not a local then you will stand out like a sore thumb. It's full of people up their own arses with too much money and time on their hands. You may see some of the Primrose Hill Set here but cos you ain't a local it looks obvious that you've come to gawp at the celebs.

Last time we were there Sadie Frost showed up and singer Finley Quaye serenaded his stunning blonde girlfriend Stephanie infront of the everyone. The Queens bar staff are really friendly and the pub does somehow have a nice atmosphere. Pricey drinks but all in all it is a good pub and its where the in-crowd go.

Queens is a great place to spend a few hours, especially after a walk on Primrose Hill or having been around Camden.

Food upstairs is well worth risking your life for (the stairs on the way down again are not good for those with vertigo) but bar food downstairs can be erratic. Funky decor but probably needs another lick of paint as getting old.
