This is an AMAZING venue! All their restaurants are really very special as each one has a different atmosphere but one thing is for sure, the food and the service at each and everyone of them are always consistently good! The food is such a healthy alternative to all the rubish that is out there and it really is very good value for money. I am very excited about their new site at Westfield...they have been so busy that I have not had a chance to dine there yet, but the design looks fantastic!!! Currently Bankside is definitely my favourite...something about the view over the Thames and St. Paul's just makes it so special. But having seen Westfield, I think I am will definitely be spending quite a bit of time there from now onwards...especially since it will end up just being the perfect ending to a great day of shopping!GO REAL GREEK!!!!

I went the to the Real Greek on Friday night and was so dissapointed.

I recomended this place to my friends as I had been there before(granted this was about 18 months previous) however the menu had undergone a vast change. Gone had the menu where you could order a main meal for yourself, instead in had come mezes (Greek for Tapas). We did exactly what the menuu suggested and ordered three mezes per person (each roughly £5). We were however deeply dissapointed by the size of portions, our lamb kebab mezes came, but there was only one kebab (this wasn't even substantial, 1 skewer of shrimp came (3 shrimp on a stick) and the kalamari was tough and didn't even seem to come from one whole squid. Luckily we had ordered two plates of bread so had filled up slightly on this prior to our less than ample selection. I was actually so dissapointed with the food (even though it tasted good) I asked to speak to the manager to voice my opinion.

The manager appeared and I told him my dissapointment only for the manager to patronize me by telling me "he didn't know where I usually dined but the food he served was top quality and made on the premises". I had not disputed the quality of this man's food only the value for money which I thought was more than lacking. In fact I dine out regulalry as part of my job and have never felt undercut by any of the other fine restraunts I've been to e.g. Claridges, the Goucho Grill or Coq D'argent. I don't mind paying well for a meal but I expect to feel full at the end of it which I certainly did not at the Real Greek, I would therefore go as far to say that The Real Greek is a Real Rip Off!

This restaurant is terrible, from ambience (cold interior), service (rude and amazingly unattentive) and the above all the food. We got our souvlaki cold first time round and when we eventually got a waiter over and had the food reheated we could not eat it as it was so bad. Even to just get some fries to tie us over whilst waiting for the reheating was a major mission. Don't go there!

We had an office party at the Real Greek Souvlaki and everything was fantastic. Great food, even too much to eat, very good and fast service. I will come to Real Greek Souvlaki again!
