I went to The Red Turban for New Years Eve 2011.

Friend had chosen this place for a big group New Years Eve. When I read the review about this restaurant (another web site) it was confusing. As people were either rating it 1 star (appauling) or 5 star (super).

However, as our friends had booked the Red Turban and there were 80 of us. We decided to join them. So we were mentally prepared to expect the worst and hoping for the best.

All, I can say the food at the Red Turban was amazing. Both the starters and main meals were excellent!! The presentation of the food was really good. I am a vegetarian, so did not try the meats/chicken, but I was told by my partner, she really liked her meal.

According to my host, the wide range review is down to the fact they send out their staff to do banqueting, so the days where there is no banqueting the food is great as all the staff are in-house. So it was a case of lucky us! :-)

We had a good New Years Eve party.

There was a DJ and the big screens piped through big Ben at midnight, so that was really nice, as we danced the night with the amazing footage of the fireworks and big Ben...

The decor was excellent and toilets were generally clean.

I would return to this restaurant again.Parking was not too difficult.
