The Roebuck's quite a nice little place for an evening meal if you're in the area. We had some good food in there a few weeks ago and everyone seemed pretty friendly.

It was a fairly relaxed atmosphere, which I prefer, and the staff were chatty but still efficient. I've been to worse places than the Roebuck.

A man walks into a bar. Ouch. No, don’t laugh, I’m being serious - that man was me and it was when I went to The Roebuck that it happened. However, I have only good things to say about The Roebuck.


It got me hideously drunk, supplied my eyes with fitties and enabled me to completely forget that I saw my girlfriend kissing some other guy when I turned up unexpectedly.
