When I first arrived at SO.UK I was feeling very bad. I was about three hours late in meeting a friend. He was all alone, the poor country boy!

However, as soon as I realised how well he had been looked after by the fantastic staff, my guilt vanished. We were treated like old friends and although I don't swing "that" way I fell in love with the girl serving us (am so horrid - don't remember her name!!!).

We came out of the VIP area for a little dance. What we saw we loved.

We only left the venue as we had things to do people to see, you know how it is darling!

Next time I go there (and there will be another time) I will not be late, but early and bringing all my "sophisticated" friends.

I found the waitress at SO.UK SO.HO very rude and condescending. She made me and my dinner guests feel very small and that we were not good enough to eat there. The food was alright but nothing special and the drinks were over-priced. I will not be eating there again, especially off my lap like I had to last night!

VIP area Teatro was a superbly plush and sassy space with well-dressed clientele. There was an inspiring air of pretentiousness wafting daintily around the place and as we ate our top class nosh amidst the rustic floorboards and frosted glass partitions, a feeling of sophistication was apparent. That was until the Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen celebrity double stroke waiter choked any sign of self-importance from my inflated ego, picking holes in me for pronouncing the speciality incorrectly. Otherwise, an excellent hang out with a slow, relaxed feel.

Didn’t see any footballers or their wives, there were no shootings nor did I manage a glimpse of trout pout herself. What a real disappointment…

SO.UK SOHO is a fantastic venue with great service, great food and a great atmosphere. I did not know it existed until my friend organised our work Christmas party there but I was really impressed when I arrived.

The staff were really friendly, the bar was really relaxed yet still beautiful and stylish and for the quality of food and drinks, prices were reasonable. We were supposed to move to another club after dinner...we never made it and instead stayed in SO.UK SOHO dancing and drinking until 2am.
