Went there Saturday afternoon. Very interesting decor. Photogenic crowd. Limited menu range, but the soup, followed by burger, that I had, was really faultless. Sitting in that garden of a weekend afternoon is a really nice experience.
Nice friendly pub with a small but really pretty front garden. However, food way behind standard of nearby Northgate and Alma. Lack of choice on the menu and portion size was quite small. I would definitely go back if just drinking.
The Scolt Head is an excellent pub! Great, great beers and fantastic food. The pasta dishes always have an authentic Italian feel and, on a recent visit, the chocolate and amaretti creme-caramel proved to be a wicked, irresistible twist on a classic dessert.
Had lunch - excellent bagels and the almond tart with rhubarb was to die for. The Scolt Head definitely Merite le voyage!
Went for a roast at The Scolt Head last Sunday and it was fab. Amazing meat cooked to perfection! The pub is bright and airy, it is no smoking throughout too (though there is a lovely beer garden where smokers can sit). This pub has real character and is a welcome change from the over-priced, over-rated competition in the area.
The Scolt Head is a great place. I went for dinner the other night and it was quite delicious - really good food for the price. I was surprised. Lovely refurbishment and bright and airy for the summer - I'll be back. In fact, I'm going tonight!
It’s great to find a non smoking Pub in London. The Scolt Head was a relaxing modern pub with a good choice of drinks. I shall be venturing to the Scolt Head in the summer to make use of the fantastic garden they have over there!
I took my family over to the Scolt Head last week for some dinner and it was very reasonably priced with your usual pub grub but it was well cooked, quick service and made for a very nice family afternoon.
