Good food. Nice decor. Very accomodating. Only downside wine prices too high.

Awful restaurant. Staff were unfriendly and became angry when we ordered food a main, side and starter to share rather than individual main portions. Food was ordinary and atmosphere dull.

Brick Lane is full of Indian places, but The Shampan is still one of my favourites. The chicken balti is fantastic and the tandoori options some of the best I've had.

Loads of different beers to choose from too. I've never had a bad night at The Shampan.
