Decent food. Shocking service. If it is a surly face and a snotty attitude that you want then this is the bistro for you.

Great looking place.
I wouldn't with the food unless you like waiting a long time, and putting up with surly service

Quite right! It's on more than one occasion that I was met with an attitude and a slow service! Forget it if you're here for an hour long lunch - a whole 1.5-2 hours will be required. - Report

The Somers Town Coffee House is my salvation after work as I drown my sorrows in their delightful Charles Wells Eagle stuff.

Somers Town Coffee House brings a smile to my face like no other, well except for a beautiful lady of course!

The name Somerstown Coffee House is some what misleading. This is a good pub that serves good pints with a friendly smile. It has got a welcoming atmosphere and is comfortably busy on a Friday night. Somerstown Coffee House sometimes has live jazz entertainment.

To start with, to call it a pub will earn you a stern telling off from their staff. Apparently they are a French bistro. They serve beer over a bar, so I don't see where your pub is wrong, but they have issues with it.

I have eaten there on many occasions, not because I enjoy the service/timing/staff or atmosphere but because the food is nice and it is quite close to work.

However, the staff are rude, the service is slow, and I think that at The Somerstown Coffee House have never heard of "the customer is always right", more like always wrong.

Waiting for over an hour and a half for a medium rare steak or a burger, when there is only one other table of four is unacceptable.
