" The Table Cafe, located behind Tate Modern and the hustle and bustle of the Southbank, serves an eclectic range of modern European cuisine in an informal and friendly atmosphere. Changing from cafe by day to elegant bistro at night it is open seven days a week serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. Topped with a special brunch menu on the weekend. With its outside wine garden surrounded with mulberry and lilac trees, makes The Table the perfect place to dine in relaxing atmosphere. ----------------------------------------------------------- Designed by world-renowned architecture practise Allies and Morrison and inhabiting the ground floor of the firm’s offices on Southwark Street. The Table is moments away from Borough Market and the many attractions of London’s Southbank. The food – including freshly baked bread – is made in house every day using seasonal ingredients. The Table bustles from dawn till dusk with neighbouring residents, local creatives and business people all rubbing shoulders over coffees and cocktails. The Table prides itself on carefully sourced ingredients with an eye on sustainability, localism and where possible organic. Coffee is from Monmouth and is lovingly prepared by our obsessive baristas. A carefully selected wine list is restricted to old-world wines in order to reduce food-miles. Alfresco dining and live music is available during the summer months. The Table offers local corporate-delivery and is available for private hire.
