I've been to this place a few times now since it opened late 2007. It's tucked away location shouldn't put anyone off this fantastic Italian eatery. Fine ingrdiants and a superb kitchen make this a must for any Italian fan. Try to forget the pizza's (they are still fantastic and beat anything these chain places can do) and treat yourself to some real italian fair. The food is complemented by a reasonable wine list that is expertly put together. My girlfriend said it was the best service she's experience since arriving in London, and we've paid significantly more for a meal before this. If this was easier to get to I'd be there every week!!! I have nothing but great things to say about this place and would heartily recommend it to anyone seeking genuine Italian experience.
hi there, I'm Italian and currently I live in the U.S.A. I've been travelling all over Europe in the last years and during my trips I always look for italian restaurants to taste my country's flavours... no way, I've always been disappointed... but not this time, not by The Three Bridges restaurant. Real italian owner (Marco, a very kind guy, he knows his job), real italian maitre (Antonio, enciclopedic knowledge of Italian cuisine), real italian chef (Piero, I didn't meet him, but he cooks very well), real italian food, real italian wines and real italian pizzas.... men, for the first time in my life I was in Italy and I was eating my favourite dishes in a foreign country.. usually "Italian restaurants" all over the world serve you local dishes, the only differences from local restaurants are some italian flags, two or the three mandolins hung to the wall and old worldwide famous italian songs. You won't find all this stuff in there, because I think that the guys over there have a different project in mind, they want to serve you great plates and they don't need italian stereotypes. The three bridges is a REAL ITALIAN RESTAURANT, A REAL RARITY!! I won't go through all the menu, there's no sense in it. But if you like real italian food (they told me they use special carriers to have fresh food and wines from Italy) and italian people (I know sometimes we are a little "noisy", but we are good guys) this is the right place to go. Strange enough, there were not so many customers in the place, whereas people stay in lines in front of "italian" restaurant chains. I'll cut a long story short... I think that Marco, Antonio, Piero and all the staff deserve more attention and my next time in London I hope to find the place full of happy customers... I'll reserve a place for every night I'm staying there, that's for sure!
