I was asked by my father to join him for dinner at the hotel where he was staying on business and was excited due to the location near Bond Street. The Westbury Restaurant seemed nice but service was nervous.

There was a young man sitting near to us in The Westbury Restaurant that did not look very happy and at one point started yelling at one of the waiters.

We asked why they did not throw him out and they replied that he was the owner. Needless to say, we left mid meal and went to a place called Hush which was very good.

The Westbury Restaurant is quite an upmarket place, but they do have a set menu for about 25 quid that's pretty good value.

The food is impressive and I'd say The Westbury Restaurant is a good place for a business lunch, or for theatre dining.
