We went along to TigerTiger on Saturday night for our friends Hen Party. We enjoyed the dinner, which was the best part of the whole evening. Our group were booked to have a booth in the Groovy Wonderland room from 9pm. However we were told by our waitress and the really rude french manager that the room wasn't available yet and we would have to wait a bit longer. It wasn't until 10:30pm we could finally be seated at our booth. The room was empty so I'm not sure what the delay was and there was no explanation. As part of the package we were expecting goodies, cocktails to be on the table but no, I had to go to the bar and ask 3 times before anything was brought to our table. By this time it was close to 11:30 and most of us had to leave to catch trains and we didn't even get to dance! So we paid £50 to sit at a table for less than an hour with a couple of budget party poppers and cold chocolate fondue with brown bananas. Very unorganised, very expensive and such a rip-off! There are so many better places in London to go!

Not a good place at all. I got denied entry, because according to the bouncer my id was fake, even though it wasnt! a first went on a monday which is a student night, and that night was amazing! had a blast, on thursday of the the same day, i couldnt go in because i was denied entry! funny, because they let me in on monday and not on thursday! the bouncer is extremely ill mannered! and he said he wanted to keep my id because i didnt have anything else to back up that the id was actually real! but who takes 3 ids to a club theyve been before and had no trouble getting in? HORRIBLE SERVICES! DRINKS ARE EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE!!! i guess the bouncers choose who can get it and who cant!

The bouncers are incredibly rude, the club is full of slimy men literally harassing every woman that walks close to them, the drinks are very expensive, and the club is packed and feels uncomfortable to be there.
Avoid!

I went to the group interview at Tiger Tiger. I was quite surprised, becauce there were only girls and managers were trying to be cool saying it's the busiest venue in Europe that make lots of money. Well, they are quite lucky, because they are located in the heart of Picadilly. All I can say about this club is that it's a Meat Market with too many kids. I went there once, I accidentally pushed one of the bouncers while I was dancing and having fun and he pushed me back as if I was a guy. Made me feel horrible. Why would they employ such a direspectful, ill mannered bouncer? Guys, this club belongs to Novus Leisure, I'd suggest you better avoid all of their clubs, bars and other venues. The staff and management are quite rude, because it's a big company, they are trying to be cool and that, however, showing no respect for their customers. I don't mind that at all, I just make sure I never come come back, there are lots of great venues just around the corner.

Sincerely AWFUL. The staff are rude, the doormen are aggressive and even when I asked to speak to the manager about my booking that THEY had confused, I found him arrogant. The venue is okay but starting to look aged and cheap.

I am always up for a good time when out clubbing, I don't like places where people go just to be 'seen'. And although tiger tiger is not the most glamorous of places, nor the best, I had a great time here! I went on monday on the student night, and the only complaint I have is the bouncers: I went with a group of 6 girls, 2 of whom had valid but expired ('clipped') passports and were denied entry on the grounds that it isn't a valid form of id, which although I've heard it before is ridiculous as they had bank cards to back up their id's and they're reply was "well why don't you have a driving license?" which I thought was completely stupid as not everyone is learning or can drive?! The other stupid part was I went back to tiger tiger later in the same evening with a different group of friends (all girls) and two male friends can to meet us and were denied entry on the grounds that they didn't have student id and weren't on the guestlist, even though I came outside and showed the bouncer the email exchange on my phone showing they didn't need student id and the email showing my guestlist reservation, but it was fine in the end as they went elsewhere and had a good time.
Overall, I had a really fun night, fair enough tiger tiger is pretty tacky and filled with many sleazy men who will grind on you until you firmly push them away (a mere scathing look doesn't work with these guys) but I would definitely go back for some more light hearted girly fun! probably wouldn't take my boyfriend though for fear of a fight starting over persistently grinding men!

I had arranged a party of 5 people yesterday (30/1/12) between 4pm and 10pm and had also booked a meal for 7pm. The bar staff were very slow despite there being more of them than actual people waiting to be served. On one occasion it took 20 minutes as staff were too busy socialising with each other. Every time I was served I got no smiles, no please or thank you, hardly any service - just a huge attitude problem. I asked a manager at 5pm how the 50% discount would apply with our voucher up to 10pm when student night started a 9pm with discounts on certain drinks. I explained that a beer costing £5.10 with 50% discount would be £2.55. However it would rise to about £3.68 with an automatic student discount. How could they claim there was a 50% discount? The manager assured me that in this particular case he would honour the 50% discount for us. I also pointed out that there was no information regarding this on the Jan calendar - 'what's on' about student night and that the 50% discount was misleading. When we had our meal we were seated in a booth type table which had ice cold air conditioning blowing under our table. I asked a waitress if we could move and she said she would find out. She did not do this and we were left waiting for ages until we finally just moved ourselves to a table we felt was better. After our meal we returned to the bar and ordered some more drink at about 9.30pm. The waitress charged me the student discount price and not the 50% off price. I complained to a different manager and he told me the first manager was wrong to tell me my pre-arranged request and that I had no choice but to pay the student discount price. I paid under pressure and felt I had been lied to. I have been going to tiger tiger ever since it first opened many years ago and have slowly seen it deteriorate to this shambolic level. Considering we spent about £300 I felt the least the manager could have done was not to overcharge me on the last purchase. I regularly arrange mee

Very very bad place.
You will get ripped off - if not at the bar (0% alcohol in some of their shots) then by the other patrons (expat Easternbloc & Aussie girls looking to make easy money out of you). They have all the tricks in the book - we even had our jackets/ sweaters stolen by them. Watch out for the 'buy me dinner' trick, too. Very tacky individuals.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME - stay away from here.

Recently went to Piccadilly Circus branch of the Tiger-Tiger club. Would like to say that we had nice time. We booked a table for 10 people which included snacks and 3 jars of cocktails. The food was quite taste, but not enough. (Even though was told that the package is suitable for 10 people) As for the drinks we went early so managed to get one round of drinks on Happy Hour, which turned out very cheap, however it ends at 8pm. :( The cocktails that were included in our £50 package deal seemed to have a very few alcohol in it, which obviously would make people to go and order more at the bar. One more thing that felt uncomfortable was that the club was very crowded. Even though there was a security at the door and was holding the queue, it was still packed.
The staff was very friendly. Even though it was 10 of us and we couldn’t fit at one table they offered us some chairs, which was very kind of them.
Overall had a really nice time. Would defiantly go again but next time probably will try their food and dine in their restaurant

A fairly decent club, 6/7 out of 10

getting in is a maze, they send you through some dodgy back alleys...although the bouncers were nice and they took the time to study your ID.

entrance fee was cheap when i went, only £5. drinks were fairly cheap as well compared to the "prestige" clubs in mayfair. It takes a while to get the drinks though, the staff are slow at serving.

club was nicely packed, with different groups of people enjoying different sounds in different sections of the club. we stayed in the white room which is really fancy and had great music.

The girls that go to tiger tiger are quite stuck up. They act as if they were sent from god and must be treated preciously, I wouldnt go there if you are looking to dance with the opposite sex.

as a club overall, it is a good venue. the rules however, are ambiguous and lack meaning; they allow some type of trainers but not others, they allow some people to wear hats and not others, my friends and I were completely overdressed, but we didnt want to run the risk of wearing certian clothes and not being let in. another small thing is that the entrance that night was only £5, and for £5 entrance you get £5 class of people. And there is a noticable difference between £5 people and £20 people.

overall, worth poppin your head in for :)

We made the horrible mistake of organising a Saturday reunion with old friends in the "well known" Tiger Tiger.
Firstly, the website is misleading is in the first place as it advertises happy hour as valid until 9pm every day. I therefore ordered 4 drinks at 8.30 waiting for a 13ish pound bill. The barman presented a 27 £ bill. I protested saying that according to the website the happy hour should last till 9pm. Had no time to reply, the barman had already called one of the extremely rude security guards who was literally picking me up and throwing me outside, obviously after demanding the payment accompanied by menaces of different nature.
In general, the staff members' behaviour was outrageous. Treated like s**t from the beginning to the end of the night for whichever reason (we MUST move the table, jackets MUST NOT be left here or here or here, meaning that we were forced to pay the 2£ for the cloakroom. We were told these things in such an intimidating manner as if they were about to beat us up). I was really in shock and a bit ashamed of taking some dear old friends in such a dirty place. From being proud of staying in London, I gradually became ashamed of introducing outside-London friends to this place .
I am afraid these people can afford to behave this way as this place is, as far as I know, "well known" outside London and people come especially to spend a great night in Tiger Tiger, a place full of perverts from whom I had to keep constantly my girlfriend away who couldn't enjoy a night out without receiving sleazy looks. I know this happens everywhere but the quality of the male customer base goes really beyond any standards seen so far here.
I have lived in London for a year now and I love this multicultural city and its architectural magnificence but these places ruin much of its reputation. Judging from these reviews, I am not the only one who had a dire experience. I hope for the sake of London that this place will any time soon shut down!!

I had dinner at Tiger Tiger with a group of 6 of my friends and was quite shocked to read some of the reviews.
We had a great time, we were welcomed by the waiter who took us to our table and ensured we wanted for nothing the whole time we were seated.
The atmosphere and food were brilliant, we all had 3 courses and each one was delicious. Our table was booked for 6pm which happened to be in happy hour so all our drinks were 50% off! Bonus!!
We then had free access to the club, stayed there all nite and had such a laugh in all of the different rooms.
I definitely recommend dining at Tiger Tiger and if you wish to continue your night your in the right place!

Went to Tiger Tiger as a Pre Dinner Package for 4 people. We were shown to the back of the restaurant which was quite dark. The other side was, I assume, the disco area due to loud music and mirror balls. My husband chose Camembert and my 2 sons coated chicken which they enjoyed. The chicken came with barbecue sauce. I should have asked for this as a side as my son does not like barbecue sauce. I had prawn and avocado cocktail. However I did not find any avocado and only 1 prawn which had been finely chopped! This was on a bed of lettuce and cubed cucumber with a nice Rosemarie sauce.
For main course my husband and I had Chicken Caesar Salad. This is the worst salad I have ever had. It consisted of shredded lettuce with an over pouring of dressing. I did not find any anchovies and had to leave the chicken as the thyme flavour was overpowering. My children wanted steak which incurred an extra charge of £5.00. I asked the waitress if they could share a steak as I knew they would not eat a whole one each. After consulting the manager she said this was okay. However when the meals came one son was provided with an empty plate! Having paid for 4 meals I asked for some chips which the waitress provided. I would have thought they could have provided the trimmings!
The drinks were half price due to Happy hour 5pm to 8pm which was good. However as for catering for a family I would not go to Tiger Tiger again.

I came here for my 21st birthday on 30/07/11.

First time.

I had the BEST time ever. We arrived a little late but the lady on the door was really kind and showed us to the V.I.P table I had hired. The manager and another member of staff brought our drinks over etc. Our food didn't arrive within a good time but they kept us posted on everything happening in the kitchen so we were OK with this. We had our own waitress who was VERY friendly and made sure to check on us every so often. One bad comment will be about a member of security in the venue. He wasn't very polite to me after he'd seen a dispute between myself and another person (a male) blaming me without knowing what had happened. Once he realised he was in the wrong he tried to worm his way out of the situation by talking to a drunk girl! I live near Croydon so I was wary about the type of people that might go to this Tiger Tiger in West End, but I must say, even the crowd were pleasant people! OVER ALL I had a very good time and would definitely go back.

Worst club i have come across in London. Staff and manager were incredibly rude , was spoken extremely rudely to and told to shut up by the manager, after he had taken our leaflet which entitled us free entry and free shots from us, and mistakenly given it away to other people!!, hoards of greasy old men, and overpriced for what it is. Any of the surrounding clubs and bars in the Leicester square area would be a much better alternative to this cheap awful place.

I am in complete concurrence with you on the bouncers. They treat you like something they’ve just stepped in and they are lecherous towards women (not just the ones that dress tacky, all women).
It is essentially a dirty old man's bar that had a hairdresser as an interior designer. Leceister Sq in general is as greasy as the floor of a kebab shop. STAY AWAY!! Unless you are so incredibly inebriated that you cease to care.

A group of four of us went to Tiger Tiger to take advantage of a Grouping offer. The location is great, the venue looks lovely, the food was ok and the member of staff who served us was friendly. At the end of the meal the waiter explained that the chip and pin facility wasn't working and that I would have to sign for my credit card, which I did. The next day on checking my bank account I noticed two different payments had been charged to my account by Tiger Tiger. One for the bill total then another for the bill total plus a tip. My first impression was honest mistake so as I live in the area I went into the restaurant. It's from this point that I realised how poor a service this unprofessional company actually delivers.

The first duty manager said he couldn't do anything until another manager was there to help him access the system and that it was probably the bank's fault anyway. The second duty manager was incredibly rude and said I might have just been any person off the street trying to get money off them....even though I had the receipt. I put the complaint in writing together with copies of my bank statement and the receipt to the General Manager of Tiger Tiger. I left four messages with members of staff over the next week for the General Manager to return my calls. I haven't received any response.

Tiger Tiger have taken an unauthorised amount of money out of my account and when I try to raise it with them they ignore me which makes me feel they are covering for a member of staff or worse still this type of overcharging is part of their normal business operation and they think customers won't notice.

I've now referred this matter to the bank. If you do decide to visit Tiger Tiger make sure you use chip and pin and check your bank account to ensure they haven't over charged you.

A group of friends (about 10 of us) and I went to Zoo bar on Saturday 28th May for my 21st birthday, and although overall we had a good time, there are a few things that I think need improving. Firstly, on the bottom floor, the bar area absolutely stinks. It literally smells of feet; absolutely terrible. The drinks also seem quite pricey. I don't mind paying £6.60 for a cocktail, as I think that's pretty good for London, but later in the evening, I ordered a vodka + redbull and got given monster and vodka and it cost me £7. I think that is ridiculous, I was better off getting a cocktail as I hate monster and it was not what I ordered. I ended up leaving it, it was that gross. We were also approached by a shot girl, who we bought a couple of shots of tequila from. After bargaining with her to give us them for 3 quid each (which I think is extortionate) they were watered down. Also, we were told that the dress code was smart-casual, so my party were turning up with guys in shirts, smart jeans and shoes and the girls all in really gorgeous dresses and high heels. In the end we just felt so overdressed. There were other people in the club in tracksuits and flip flops. As for the clientele, they were not very nice at all, not very trendy. For a Saturday night at a club in London, I found this very disappointing. I feel we went to so much effort for a mediocre night. All in all, the night was okay, but I think that was mainly due to the company that I was with. Oh, also kudos to the photographer guy at the club, as he took a lovely photograph of me and my friends. I bought a medium size print of it and that was great value for money at only £5. I don't think I will be returning to Zoo bar on a Saturday night for any type of celebration, perhaps it'll be okay during the week for a student night.

My friends and I booked a birthday treat for eight of us. Unfortunately the service was awful all throughout the meal with meals coming out at all different times. To top it off our table collapsed sending all food, drinks and birthday cakes crashing to the floor leaving two of our party injured where the table legs caved in! Since the 7th of May my friends and I have sent numerous emails and made several phone calls to tiger tiger trying to make contact and feedback about our experience! I even had a response from the manager saying he would reply over two weeks ago but nothing! Don't go to this awful place. The management don't care about their customers, there are evident health and safety breaches to this shoddy establishment and their aftercare to ensure a returning cliental and positive feedback is pathetic. All in all a not very happy bunch of injured customers and not even a simple sorry for a venue that is supposed to be the best in customer satisfaction.

Haven't been here for about four years and i remember why. Went on a saturday night with my girlf and lasted about 20mins. The first thing you notice is the hoards of greasy, eastern European males crowding the entrance to get a look in - big warning sign.
Once in the bar staff seemed more interested in bitching about their colleagues or chipping their nails than serving the paying customers and the actual club seems smaller than before because of the VIP bit.
Clientele is more a mixture of chavs, underage kids, foreign students and the away supporters from various football matches.
Drinks are overpriced, staff uninterested, and better places round the corner.

Worst night out! A group of us went to tiger tiger for New Years. In the first half hour my friend had her phone stolen out of her bag. Then later in the evening my boyfriend had his camera stolen! It was busy and management did not seem to be monitoring who came in, with people roaming around in tracksuit bottoms. What made it worse was the ridiculously rude bar staff. One girl got our order wrong and when we pointed this out took all our drinks away and served the next person. Stay away!!

In spite of the bad reviews, I do think Tiger Tiger is quite cool if you want a place that plays decent music, friendly people and just hanging out with your friends. I wouldn't go to Tiger Tiger on a special occasion such as an anniversary (big no no!), but quite a few hen do's do happen here. It is a huge club for central london. 4 different rooms and lots of dancing space. If you went there in 2009 or early 2010 and thought the decor was a bit tacky, then you need to go to Tiger Tiger again! The place has been renovated, and dare I say that the White room is cool for the price you get drinks in the place. Drinks are cheap - nuff said (around £3.70 for vodka or whisky)music varies from room to room , but the main room tries to cater to everyone's needs which never really works out that great so you just have to go into another one of the rooms hoping that one of them is playing music you like. The white room is mostly house/dance music and the groovy wonderland is old school pop (i. E mj all night)the crowd is very touristy in the summer. Everyone goes there to have fun and most people do because majority of the crowd are friendly. Overall, I think its a fun place to go. I'd give it 3.5 stars just cause it's so much fun and chilled out. Doesn't quite make it to 4 stars but it would be unfair to round it down to 3.

Oh my goodness - not just my opinion judging by other reviewers!
Awful place, abysmal night last month. I normally don't take a blind bit of notice of these review sites as me and my wife are pretty open-minded, however feel compelled to add a review. What should have been an awsome anniversary date was marred by dismissive, disinterested restaurant staff, uncooperative bar staff who don't seem to know the etiquette of first come first serve (unlike the US), cattle herding security and awful food - dry, bland, colorless (all brown, save for a half tomato). And we payed over 30 bucks a head for this stuff! You guys sure have some major problems and I warn others not to go near this place. It sucks.

On Saturday Oct 30, My friend and I went to Tiger Tiger. 2 hours after entering the club, we are called by 2 bouncers to go out the backdoor. We go outside, and the manager says we are being kicked out because we "stand out". She brought attention to my semi-baggy jumper (which wasn't an issue at the entrance and mind you it is Halloween weekend where ppl are wearing funky stuff), she said we were not buying drinks, and hovering around girls. Obviously these reasons are BS. We were both completely sober(ironic that you can get in trouble in that case) and not causing any trouble. I was and am still shocked and urge you, and everyone that reads this to spread the word and boycott this racist establishment.

Worst night out ever! I went a couple of years back and had a great night- it has really gone down hill since! The staff are rude, and really don't care how they treat you. After ordering a table we didn't have enough seats as what we had arranged, half the food didn't arrive, and the food that did came at all different times so we couldn't eat together. We waited half an hour for a drink while we were eating. The restaurant was extremely overcrowded and the staff had no idea where food was going to. When it came to paying for our meal, we did so only for the waiter to return to our table demanding more money as he said we hadn't paid enough! Not only had we paid enough, we had also paid a service charge for what was the worst service I ave ever received! I would advise anyone considering going to Tiger Tiger to think again! There are far better and cheaper places in London, where you will be sure to have a great night. Unfortunately Tiger Tiger is not one of them.

We went last night to Rough Hills vodka island at tiger tiger. there seemed to be a lot more rooms open than before, we went before and it was just two rooms this time there was a lot more. groovy wonderland was amazing, and drinks were great dbl vodka and mixer for 3.00 or a cocktail for 3.00.
we got VIP wristbands but there wasn't really much point because they just allow you access to a little room, with fairly rubbish music, and the queue at the bar is longer than the queue downstairs!
but at least it was cooler in there, on the higher levels it was SO hot it was unbelievable, everyone was sweating, people were getting aggro and fights were breaking out cos everyone was so hot.
downstairs in groovy wonderland was SO much better, upstairs you couldn't barely move or dance because it was so packed and so hot, but downstairs there was plenty of room, and booths too. i think maybe people didn't know downstairs was there, because even though it had quite a lot of people there the bar queues were so much shorter.

we've been once before and drinks were really expensive, so it was well good to have the cheap drinks.

if i were you, id only go tiger tiger on a Monday student night, wouldn't bother going VIP because it's not really worth it, and would head downstairs!
wicked night.

This is the worst place I have ever been to. Monday night; my friends birthday. She works for an events company who books tables there regularly. When we arrived and said that we had a table booked they charged us £5(?!)and then they said that they couldn't find our table. Can we have a refund? Yes. With the table is promised some complimentary drinks, there was none. My friend showed bouncer the email with Tiger Tigers confirmation on the table booking and drinks, their reply - sorry this isn't real. Absolute joke and lady was very rude. Can we have our refund now? No. On website said £3 after 9pm, free before. We got in a just before 9pm and was charged a fiver. Go figure. So put on a rubbish table we decided to try and have a good time anyway, went up to the bar and on their poster it said 'all cocktails - £3). Ordered 2 Mojitos and 1 Cosmopliton. The drinks had been made and when went to pay the £9 the bar man said 'oh no, the cosmipolitan is full price, £6'. So they make it so you feel obliged to pay it. Had words with him then went to the bar manager who had the most smugugly face, asked that he shouldnt let his staff make drinks under the pretence they are cheaper and then change the prices. 'we have a menu for the £3 ones'. No, you have a poster saying all cocktails £3. Looked like he couldn't give a flying. So all we have met with is attitude. Then we are met with the worst cheesiest music and clientele. Go downstairs to find smoking area. Made a smoking guesture to the 2 ladies at the desk on the door to ask where it was and one of them looked at me like I was stuff on her shoe and shrugged her shoulders. Attitude. Last but not least, and probably the saddest thing of all - my friend had a couple of present bags and the boucers refused to let them touch the floor. The bags were under the table, couple of us was sitting by them but ohhh no, have to be in hands at all times incase all those 3 foot people come in and wana dance under the table space.

Shocking. The worst club experience I have ever had. We were treated like cattle, literally pushed and shoved by bouncers. No aircon, impossible to breathe, club was over filled and staff seemed unable to cope. Couldn't wait to leave...
