Went to Tinello last night with 4 friends and had an excellent meal. Attentive service, excellent food and nice buzz to the place. With two fairly knowledgeable wine buffs in our crowd, the wine list was varied and priced right across the spectrum. When we hesitated over the 2nd bottle being right, there was no question about changing it - excellent sommelier. I think the pricing is good - mains are on the high side for London, but they were all great - and the small eats were terrific. Will definitely go back.
My boyfriend and I went to Tinello's for our anniversary and it was absolutely wonderful. The food was excellent and reminded us of our holiday in Italy. We appreciated the small details such as a sweet treat with our espresso. The service was impeccable by being attentive and yet personable. We will be going back and maybe next time with friends. Highly recommended.
we went and we will come back, everthing was really perfect: food, wine and service
We really enjoyed it. The food was very tasty and the staff is friendly and welcoming. We definitely will be back.
Amazing food, simple and varied, incredibly tasty, great and friendly service..and to top it all very reasonably priced... Had one of the best meals ever... utterly recommend it and i love going back again and again
We were quite excited to go to Tinello after reading about in in daily candy. However, we were extremely disappointed. The wine was awful. We had to order 3 different wines before we settled on something that was even drinkable. the appetizers were OK , nothing special and the main dishes just really bad. we were 5 people and all 5 dishes came out bad. on a menu with no more than 10 main dishes that's pretty awful. the tubular pasta was too salty, the pork loin very bland, the risotto not cooked enough, the ravioli arrived with truffle (they said it was truffle - if it was it was very stale) etc. And the meal was priced as a 5 star resto would price its dishes - this would be fine if the food was good . However, this was one of our worst experiences of Italian food in London.
Tinello represents a fresh approach to Italian modern cuisine: simple, unpretentious and most delicious.
The atmosphere is exactly what a Tinello stands for: homely, intimate and family driven. The service is spot on and the prices are just right.
Tinello sits in a niche off Sloane Square to serve a niche in the public demand for descent and memorable food. Home cooking away from home.
