What a delight to find a place that not only serves great food in a relaxed, non-pretentious environment but is also fantastic value for money.

The staff were extremely friendly and polite for the entire evening with the food arriving promptly but not so quickly as to make you feel rushed in any way.

I arrived with a stinking cold and left feeling much happier for eating at Tom Ilic!

Visited last night and it was indeed very good. As suggested, I had the braised pig cheeks and Duck confit. Both were well prepared. My guest had the sweetbreads as a starter and the lamb, which was equally good. All joined with what turned out to be a stunning bottle of Vosne Romanee. Service was accommodating, friendly and no attitude whatsoever. We booked for an early dinner at 7:30, and the restaurant was about 1/3 full, but by 9:00 it was completely filled. Good food, good energy and very reasonable prices. Décor needs a bit of work, as it is a bit sterile at the moment.
