Went into Trailer Happiness yesterday and I must have had the worst cocktail I've ever had. The bartender was quite obviously not interested in what he was doing (making a caipirinha, a drink that's impossible to mess up) and one wonders how they actually got the great reviews that they have.

I actually ended up leaving the cocktail on the bar after 3 sips and two attempts at getting it improved on (which they actually tried; with as poor a result, yet different flavour as the first time around).

The music at Trailer Happiness is not bad and the layout's okay. It's a shame that they're so sloppy with the drinks - especially since Dale DeGroff does the list, according to rumours.

The last reviewer? Axe to grind or what? Take a look at the viewlondon offical review and they too (like me) think it's pretty much the mutt's nuts. Even if in the (unlikely) event 'anonymous' got a duff cocktail, is one star a fair assessment? Sounds like the bartender tried twice to get the cocktail to their liking and the music and layout weren't one star in their opinion.
I read the reviews, had a look there myself and thought viewlondon was spot on. Worth a go and very different. - Report

Popped in to Trailer Happiness last week, having read the review on this website. Initially it was a bit tricky to find, but a quick call established it's on the corner, and you have to go downstairs, hence it's lack of visibility from the road.

The room is just as described in the review, with low seats, low tables and a small room off to the right with bean bags to sit on. The staff were excellent, asking what kind of things we liked and mixed cocktails accordingly. I wasn't drinking (for once in my life) and they kept me plied with an assortment of different and unusual non- alchoholic drinks.

Overall, I enjoyed the experience apart from a group of youngsters unable to hold their booze. I would definitely go back again and it's definitely a place to take a date for a an intimate and cool cocktail drinking experience. The staff made all the difference and hence the top score!
