I went to the Theatre with my husband yesterday and found this restaurant close to the Tube station, useful. We also found it a little odd that we were given olives (which we do not like) and bread and then found we were charged for this (it was on the menu), Take a leaf out of overseas retaurants in this case and provide such things FREE! This would help your customers to feel welcome. The service was pleasant and quite fast enough for us - we had lots of time before the Theatre - and the food good. I had Lamb steak which was prepared just as I had requested BUT would have been much better with a little gravy/sauce with it. My husband had the veal and found this lovely. Good food, good wine, pleasant service (grotty loos!) but we ere offered a FREE drink when we had finished our coffee, brandy or whatever we wanted - regretfully we had to decline as we would be driving late in the evening to get hime - the free bread and olives wouldl have been better!

My 2 friends and I decided to try this restaurant because it was so close to the station and it would save time. The service was pleasant enough, but they helpfully popped olives and bread on the table and promptly charged us £3 on the bill for the pleasure? The food was unmemorable, but we were allowed to chat without being rushed to leave.

The service at Trattoria Italiana Biagio was extremely slow. The apple tart was chewy and the bill was handwritten, covered in Tipp-Ex and hard to follow. They automatically wrote in an additional 10% service charge.

The restaurant is cramped and the toilets at Trattoria Italiana Biagio are of a low standard. I'd save yourself the money.

Biagio Restaurant is located right next to Charing Cross and serves traditional Italian food. The portions are a good size and it's a really family-friendly place.

I recommend Biagio Restaurant.
