An excellent Japanese restaurant - the Chicken Katsu was delicious, with a lovely, full flavour (noticeably better than at some of the bigger chains) and the Asahi beer was nice and crisp, refreshing. Good value in the heart of the City too. Can't believe I hadn't noticed this one before - will return!

Went to Tsuru Sushi for lunch. Unless you are on diet and overpaid, this is not worth it. The portions are very small (salmon teriyaki) and the Hokkaido pumpkin seafood soup is just some salty spicy hot water. Had to grab another sandwich once back at my desk. I

I could not disagree more with the above review. Tsuru Sushi not only offers super fresh Sushi (generous portions) but also great dishes such as their Katsu Curry. I especially love the green tea Mochi ice cream for dessert, especially as the weather gets warmer this is just such a nice and refreshing dish to finish off the meal. I can only recommend this place. So, if your diet is great food go there.

I also couldn't disagree more with this review either: I've been to the Tsuru on the South Bank tens of times and adore it, and went to this one for the first time last week. The food is just so good - the sushi is incredibly moreish and far superior to the conveyor belt crap sold everywhere else. And as usual I couldn't help but poke my face into my friend's katsu curry. To die for. Now to make the pilgrimage to the one the third one, hopefully I get an excuse to go there soon. I can't stop eating at these ruddy places!
