I was very disappointed with the food. Definitely not worth the money (£24 for two courses). The portions are small (the main dish looked like an average starter), and the food itself is nothing special, although it is very well presented.

The place is nice and elegant, the service is excellent and very friendly but that did not make up for the disappointment.

I’m not a vegetarian, and maybe I just need a bigger portion but I would not recommend this place and would definitely not go again.

This is probably the best place to go for on a date - the restaurant is classy and the food will impress even hardened carnivores with its imaginative use of ingredients and the way the chef manages to combine flavours and textures. The service is attentive and friendly, and although the place is a little on the pricey side (for a vegetarian restaurant, but much cheaper than a comparable non-veg place), the money is well spent.

Thoroughly recommended for attractive,flavoursome food equally appealing to non vegetarians such as me. Particularly memorable main of mushroom mille feuille and dessert of rum and raisin curd cake. I like the "variations on a theme" which compliment the main ingredients. The wine list is well chosen and service welcoming and attentive. I have been a second time recently and found no problem in choosing dishes for another excellent dinner.
