I usually don't write reviews, but I feel like I have to tell everyone to go and eat at Vito's!!!I ate at Vito's on wednesday night on the recommendation of a friend and will definitely be back! I went with my boyfriend and we were greeted at the door by the owner himself (which is very rare nowadays). We had a couple of drinks in the bar first, which had a lovely cosy atmosphere, and then were seated in the main restaurant.The restaurant wasn't very busy, just a few tables were occupied. We were not disappointed by our meals! We both had pasta dishes to start with and then I had sole in a white wine sauce and my boyfriend had steak in a peppercorn sauce. We shared a tiramisu. Everything tasted amazing and Vito recommended a wine which complimented the meal beautifully!Overall, the evening was great! Vito seems to know everyone that comes in or walks past and and with his all-Italian staff he makes you feel very at home, with very friendly and personal service but not too-overbearing. The food was not too overpriced either, our bill came to £70 for a 3-course meal, wine and drinks at the bar.As we were leaving, Vito told us about his "all you can eat" Sunday carvery buffet which we have already booked a table for! I definitely recommend this place to everyone!

I ate at Vito's with a big party in January this year and whilst I was impressed with the first two courses the dessert seemed to have been bought in and was uninteresting in my opinion.

However, I tried Vito's again on Saturday night and they have home made puddings now too. Well worth the visit and surprisingly quiet on a Saturday night given the very good food.

Linen table cloths and napkins and sparkly glasses and cutlery together with great service help to make this restaurant a new favourite.
