The wine here is really, really good - an excellent range of different wines, with food varying from snacks (such as biltong) to proper meals. I would thoroughly recommend it.

Having heard so much about the Vivat Bacchus Spingbok Steak with Biltong Crust from a work colleague I simply had to try it. I can see now why she was so enamoured by it - it really is very good indeed.


If you know your wine too this is a great venue as they allow you to go into the wine cellar and choose your own wine to accompany your meal. Service is excellent and prices fair too. I can heartily recommend Vivat Bacchus for a lovely South African experience.

The quality of the wine here is unsurpassed. Vivat Bacchus is a great wine bar and I will certainly be coming here again. My wife very much enjoyed her drinks, as did my clients. The Vivat Bacchus wine bar should be on everyone's to do list this year.
