I had the most wonderful dinner at Wallace -
the setting is just so romantic. We had the seafood platter which was amazing. The dessert was mouth watering. The staff were charming and helpful.



Wallace really is now one of my very favourite places and wish it was open for dinner more than just Friday and Saturdays.

I went for lunch at the Wallace Restaurant yesterday. It has a very nice setting, and that was about the only good thing! They couldn't find our reservation and kept us standing at the door for a while, then it took about 15 minutes to get a glass of wine.
The general atmosphere at Wallace Restaurant was pretentious, with lots of staff standing around but not many serving. We ended up speaking to the waiter in French as his English was non existant, the tartine was a piece of rock hard toast about four inches long with some crab topping and no garnish whatsoever.


And then they added a discretionary 12 percent tip to our bill which I didn't have time left to question it was appalling.

We went to the Wallace Restaurant today and it was really lovely. The service was excellent, the bread was good, the food was very tasty and I thought it was good value. We would definitely go back to the Wallace as the surroundings were very comfortable and pleasant.

The Wallace Restaurant is sophistication personified. The staff are extremely helpful, especially the reservations girl. My wife and I will definitely be returning to the Wallace Restaurant for more of their delicious food.
