We stopped here for lunch, walked in and there was no one to seat us. After walking around for about 3 minutes a waitress appeared and told us to sit where we liked. We waited about 10 minutes before she served us and had served another couple that came in after us first. I got a salad which was ok but not for the price, it was loaded with mostly tomatoes and more topping than greens. My husband got a caesar salad which he hated but was hungry so ate most of it. I tasted his salad and it was VERY fishy and we have had one before served with anchovies that did not taste like that. It also took forever for the food to come out and to get our check and pay. We will NOT be returning.

7 of us went for dinner at Waterloo Bar and Grill about 10 days ago. Though 1 in our group did not like her fish, the other 6 were resoundingly impressed by the venue. They have a no-nonsense approach that reflects brilliantly in both the slickness of the service and the quality of the food. Dishes that left a great impression on the table included my friends Slow Roast Pork shoulder, a Wild Boar Burger and my dish which was the Black Faced Lamb.

Coming to the wine list, one has to be very impressed with the range of affordable wine they offer. This means that without breaking the bank one can sample a few different wines in search of the perfect match to the food. The atmosphere really suits big groups, and therefore if you are having a dinner for 7+ people then I highly recommend Waterloo Bar and Grill.

Though the bill was slightly on the pricey side, It did not really matter. A seamless meal from start to finish!
