We have eaten before at Wildwood and found it very good but last night we went and I ordered a Caesar Chicken salad which was virtually inedible. The chicken was bone dry and tasted like cardboard and the egg was cold and watery. I should have complained but we were with friends celebrating a birthday and didn't want to make a fuss but I would think twice before eating there again. I wouldn't have given my dog the chicken!

Hubby and I were staying in South Kensington quite close to Wildwood and decided to pop in on the evening before our departure home. We were met with a very polite, welcoming guy who found us a lovely quiet table - unusual as the place was jumping with foodies! Service was excellent as was the ambience and the food was faultless. We had 2 courses each plus wine and the total bill came in well under £40. Extremely good value for money and we will definitely visit them again. Review for the restaurant - keep it up guys!

I took my family here for a quick bite and was really disappointed. the food was poor quality and the staff got the order wrong and had the air of not giving a xx. I suspect that this restaurant only survives because there are enough tourists passing through that they don't need repeat custom
