I love the fact that the Wine Vaults are so authentic. The sawdust floor is a really nice connection with the past and it would be nice if other chains did similar things as opposed to relentlessly pursuing modernity.


The food is pretty good here too with standard pub grub prepared to a high level. The Wine Vaults, as expected, have a good wine list, which is itself reason enough visit.

The Wine Vaults are in a bit of a funny location, but that isn't something that would put me off my pint. They do very good beer and wine at the Wine Vaults, and the staff certainly seem to know what they are talking about.
