although the starters were amazing - the service, ambience and especially the mains - which we had to wait for hours - were all terrible and not worth the money we spent.
The management appeared stunned when i complained and i was not the first person that night to comment on the service which required improvement.
we waited 30mins for our drinks to be served, and were told we had 5 minutes to order dessert before the kitchen closed - although we had been waiting for 20 minutes for someone to take our order

I've eaten at Yum Yum four times in the last 6 months and haven't had any problems with the service. The food has been fantastic on all occasions.

Just don't bother with Yum Yum unless you have at least two hours to kill! the service was dreadful! It seems they were more worried about cleaning tables or chatting on the phone than looking after diners. The food was okay but stay away from the basic dessert menu unless you like frozen ice cream! All I can say in summing up is to stay away from Yum Yum at all costs!

Just don't pay any attention to this review, Yum Yum is my local and has been giving me great food and service for over 20 years since it opened. It just can't be possible that somewhere can be still open if it was anything like this reviewer says, so as I say just ignore this idiotic and potentially damaging person and go and try it out. After all the idiot that wrote it does say that the food was OK (it is better than that) and I thought that ice cream was supposed to be frozen, what a complete pratt to say you should avoid it at all costs.
