Great food and service. Our waiter was most attentive and was proud of his own homemade carrot chutney!
Some of the best Indian food I have ever had, never found a peshwari naan to compare!

The food here was excellent, sadly the service was not.

Although the staff seemed really nice and friendly, they just kept forgetting things (drinks, side dishes etc') and although we sat down - in a half empty restaurant- at 7.30pm, we did not get our meals until 8.45pm.

When the bill came we discovered that 'reminders' of forgotten drinks had been added (ie they forgot a glass of coke, we reminded them twice, we were charged for 3 cokes).

They forgot to provide an ordered tea, when we reminded them they brought lollies as a nice gesture...but not the tea.

Service was not included- we paid the bill using £20 notes as we were splitting the bill between 5 (it was all the cash machine was giving out) but our (intended to be) quick meal cost far less per head.

We never saw the change- they just whipped it all away and feigned smiling and 'not understanding' so that asking for the change so we could set our own tip (which would NOT HAVE BEEN 25%!! If anything) would have caused a scene and made us look mean.

I accept a couple of the waiters may have been young, inexperienced and perhaps have limited English- but the manager was the worst for this 'smiling and nice' poor service.
