My visit to this restaurant was prompted by the recommendation of a friend. I came on a Saturday night with my family, fully expecting a pleasant evening. The food was nice and for £60 for a party of 8, it represented good value for money.
However my evening was ruined by the appalling behaviour of the staff. They pressured us to finish our meal quickly by asking when my family and I were leaving. This happened not once, not twice but three times!
When I complained to the manager, he made no attempt at an explanation or apology. He simply walked away! I was absolutely furious and I will NEVER come to Zaza's again. Furthermore I will advise all my friends and others not to visit this place.
Zaza's grill is such a let down,
We made a booking for about 30 people last night and we agreed on the price and menu in downstairs hall, we were served the food after one hour of waiting and the food was served was not hot just felt that it has been in microwave, told the manager there and he replied sorry that is how we serve the food we cook it and freez it and then warm it up when its time to serve, so it means all those cookers and chefs up there are just to pretend that fresh food is being cooked here .
And the staff they never leave you alone if you are there with yous family believe me they will be there to stare at them Even one of the guy he seemed to me like he was owner (shadi) that's Wat they were calling him , cant even tell you how perverted he was kept staring at my daughter and always coming to that table where most ladies were sitting .
And when it was time to pay they over charged us for about £50. And starting arguing about it so we just wanted to get away with it so paid that extra money for nothing . Such a horrible exprience.
I would never recommend it to any ine never .
My family recently organised my birthday party here and booked out the downstairs area. The decor is beautiful and it was the perfect venue for a relaxed evening. The food was hot and tasty and the service was good too! All in all we had a wonderful evening and will definitely return!
Zaza's grill, what a real let down. We booked the downstairs area for a charity event and although the surrounding was nice, the men in there are not. Perverted staff and horrible manager who is very rude with women.
We arranged a price and time for the event, and one made it very clear to the manager and staff that there will be women downstairs who do not want to be bothered so I kindly asked them to leave us to it, and I would go upstairs for anything we needed. Little did I know that the dirty perverted staff had a huge urge to want to come downstairs on many occasions for no reason, but one had the nerve to ask to of the women who went up, what's going on downstairs!!
I was totally disgusted when the manager was verybally abusing me and charged me £260 on top of what we had agreed and didn't have any remorse for the fact that we are a charity organisation.
He was rude and oppresive and called me a 'non Muslim' and asked me to go home while he settles the bill with my husband. Little did he know my husband was NOT going to let his ignorant behaviour go, but told him to apologize and calmed the matter down.
Bad communication, sneaky and coniving people in there.
Would not reccomend to anybody.
I am still very shocked at how they all treated me.
Zaza's does not deserve any star ratings. May look beautiful, but I've seen the look of the men in the kitchen, and let's just say I won't be going any where near that place again!
