Went to Zebrano this weekend for a couple of post work drinks. I'm a big fan of the drinks and food deals and the music was good too. Was my first time there and will 100% be returning again soon!

A night with great potential was ruined here by appalling service at the downstairs bar. I was ignored by bar staff for half an hour and passed over for other customers. The music was so loud I couldn't hear my friends so didn't stay long. Doorman was friendly but wouldn't recommend it if you value being treated with respect.

A little gem in the heart of Soho, conveniently located by Carnaby street and a great place to take a quick break from shopping. Go back in the evening and it's so lively! Lots of dancing, fabulous drinks offers. I've never been disappointed by a night spent at Zebrano :D

This place is amazing! So glad we found it. The first time we went was after a hardcore day shopping and was so nice to chill with the delicious cocktails and food. The weekend after we returned for a night out and it was still amazing! The music and atmosphere was perfect.

Lovely place and great location.....however, as we all arrived for my sisters 30thy their were a few problems. Firstly we all said in advance we wanted the cocktail making classes. Now with a large group of us, really we should have been doing them 5 at a time, instead it was 2, and people got bored very quickly. The cocktail making itself should have been a long drink, a short drink, a shot and a champagne cocktail for who ever won the cocktail making competition. We arrived and all had a shot of sambuca, which they later said was our shot, fair enough, but then they said we could only make one cocktail each as we were using more than normal measures. A lot of the guest had spent a lot of money for this evening, and charging basically 25 pounds for one cocktail was stupid.

A few hours later after the music was playing and drinks were flowing, we were surprised to see people in our private section. Because it was a burlesque theme, we were all comfortable with our coats and bags everywhere until people came to the top bar. Then an hour after that, they literally turned the lights off, even though we hadn't asked for it. People had to ask why they were switched off and to turn them on, but they refused. A lovely place but horrendous service

Didn't really want to go out but was dragged here by a friend. So glad I was though - I ended up having such a great night! Cocktails were amazing and the music was perfect to throw a few shapes to - I can definitely see it becoming my favourite haunt!

My regular post-work haunt. Mostly because they have some of THE most mouth-watering cocktails I've ever had. Food is also surprisingly good for a bar. Nice for a spot of lunch.

A really cool place, with good music and a good crowd, major downfall is the poor customer service! Something to beware of if you book an area! I celebrated my birthday at Zebranos and was asked to give up one of my tables half way through the night. I had received booking confirmation and spoken to the staff securing my area - this didn't seem to be enough.

Recommend you spend your money elsewhere, there are plenty of cool places in London without this unnecessary hassle.

I don't know what Sammy must have done to wind the bouncers up the wrong way, but I've always found the staff at Zebranos to be really welcoming. I don't think I've seen anyone turned away (unless of course they were under-aged or the place was full to capacity).
It's a great little spot just around the corner from my office in Soho and it never fails to deliver for a fun night out.

Great view from outside, design ok, music same as every place in soho. But the success (or whatever) has made the staff very arrogant! Last time I went, the service (bouncers, barmaids and manager) was very rude. They did not allow my friends to get in, pretending they were drunk and it was completely wrong. I cant believe they lie! Another thing, this place attracts a lot of chav and perverts!

Had a night out with my friends and all can say - will be comin back because of service!! Sometimes you have to wait, but if you want to see something amazing when it comes to service - go to your left when you go to the bar downstairs. Even if you'll have to stand for a minute of five - observe the Zimbabwean guy that works there. Pure quality. Happy hour means £3.5 for a cocktail - what more can yo uask for?
Was goin there, will be goin to!

Given that Zebrano is a late night bar and club, I wasn't sure how well it would do as a lunch venue but I was pleasantly surprised. We dined here more due to the location than choice, but the venue was clean with a great ambience and they welcomed children.

Most impressive though was the food. Far from the style of mass-microwaving, Zebrano's menu included large, fresh dishes such as Pappardelle Pasta with Spring Onions and Pesto, Cajun Spiced Chicken Caesar Salad and a Mackerel Nicoise. What's more, we could use our View Card which guaranteed 50% off everything on the menu, making lunch for 3 just less than £17 including soft drinks.

I recently visited London and found myself around Carnaby Street and Richmond. The food was good and the cocktails and service was relaxed, friendly and unobtrusive. It was children friendly. In fact I went there twice in two days. Partly because I had a 50% off food voucher, but I could have chosen many others. They were welcoming and it was a nice quiet escape from the busy streets outside. I would go back.

Been to Zebrano twice now. Always got invited by someone in the street with a half-price cocktail offer.
Both times were allright. The cocktails are tasty (tho quite expensive on regular price) and the decor looks nice.
One night there were not too many people and me and my bf could sit down and drink kinda intimate. The other night it was totally packed with people.
It's not a place I'd totally fall for, but its allright from time to time...

The extensive cocktail at Zebrano in Ganton Street is enough to guarantee the best night out. I was dancing all night on a dance floor which was heaving.

The atmosphere was buzzing – I really did enjoy myself. In fact, I enjoyed myself so much that I cambe back the next day and saw that teh food menu had an extensive list of delicious dishes – I didn’t know what to choose.

In the end I got one of the platters to share with my friends and I ate so much I was so incredibly stuffed afterwards!

this is the worse bar i have ever been to and i have been to quite a few. Would never return or recommend.

Had an appalling time and the only reason we stayed was that our barmen made good cocktails but i've had better elsewhere.

Utter rubbish, you could only order cocktails upstairs however you couldn't order food downstairs so unless you want to traipse up and down the whole night as you weren't allowed to take your cocktails upstairs! what a hassle for some drinks and food!!!!

Really enjoy this place for any time in the evening, whether its for after-work drinks, pre-drinks or a late nighter.

Good location, nice inside design and friendly staff. They've got a decent selection of drinks and the food is quite nice as well if you're just after a small bite.

Especially in the summer, it's always nice to sit outside and enjoy Soho's buzzing after-work atmosphere.

I've never got disappointed and will surely come back more often.

DONT EVER GO HERE

Worst place ever. 5 of us went here for lunch, not only did they take our order down wrong, but got aggressive with us about it argued with us about what they thought we ordered & wouldnt give us the correct food, the waiter started shouting at us and this is not acceptable behaviour as the customer should always be right.

They didnt even bring us cutlery for our food & we had to ask twice for the bill. Definately the worst place i have ever been. They treated us appallingly.

I just came here for lunch with a bunch of friends from work and i have to say the service was truly appalling.

It took them ages to give us a menu, and then, when we ordered the server wasn't really listening to what we were saying and being as slow as a snail.

Our food then arrived quite quickly, but we didn't get two of the dishes that we ordered and when we informed them of the error, one of the waiters had the audacity to argue with us and tell us we had made a mistake.

We told him what had happened and he continued to argue with us, quite aggressively, i might add and patronise us all. I visit A LOT of cafes/bars for lunch in London and work within a large team of people, all of whom listen to my views about where to eat/drink.

Under no circumstances would i recommend ANYONE going to this place unless you're into long waiting times, rude and obnoxious staff and zero atmosphere.

If i wasn't someone to stay within the law, i would have walked out and not paid...very very disappointed and if i could give minus stars i would.

zebrano is the number 1 bar to be at this year!

went there Saturday had a great time, many more to come from this place.

There was a great atmosphere all night even the staff looked like they were having a good time.

I had the cod fillet and it was beautiful, needed a drink after though.

I got the mang-ho and ended up drinking it all night Going again this Friday hope its as good as last time

I found this hidden little gem on a random night out with a couple of mates just after New Years...it's a great little club - good music, fantastic cocktails (I highly recommend the Soho Sea Breeze), and fabolous atmosphere. We had planned to only pop in for a drink or two and ended up staying and partying hard until close! Will definitely be returning, no doubt about it!

Went with a largish group on Wednesday night. Atmosphere was zero (ok, admittedly, it was a Wednesday but still its Soho and its nearly Christmas, one would have thought there would be at least some atmosphere). We booked an area for 30, but they gave us seating for 10. The decor needs refurbishing - they really should look at the lighting on the ground level. Upstairs smelt like dirty oil (as in a dodgy fish & chip shop).

And to top it all off, the Bar manager was incredibly rude on a number of occasions over the night. To give you a feel - 1) I'd ordered drinks from one of the bar staff and the manager interrupted before they were poured, he told the barman to go off elsewhere else, then just left me standing there waiting to catch another barman to be served again;

2) When the manager served me later that night, he poured the worst two Martini's I've ever had (doesnt know a dirty martini from straight up, & used Kalamata olives!), one drink was far shorter than the other, and he took ages to finalise the bill because he was preoccupied pouring himself a drink (which he fizzed all over me, without even bothering to apologise). Arrogant & unfriendly. With leadership like that, no wonder the bar lacks atmosphere

Terrible. Was invited here by friends for a quick drink one Thursday night and was aghast to be refused entry on the basis of a dress-code!!! Who the **** do these people think they are and in what decade are they living? This kind of crap may have passed as sophisticated back in the 70's (or to this day in 3rd-rate provincial backwaters) but these days?.. in central London! If restaurants, clubs & bars from the Wolsey, to the Ivy, to Milk & Honey etc can all get by without this kind of regressive reactionary nonsense then what is the problem with Zebranos? Looking through the window it appeared to be full of pissed-up office twats & shop girls crashing around in a gaudy pig-pen. If this place is trying to pass itself off as in someway exclusive or up-scale perhaps they should exclude those in cheap polyester suits flecked with vomit - or maybe that would exclude to many of their target client group.Avoid this place, leave it for the wankers & euro-trash tourists, you can do so much better in Soho than this.

OK, i second what the guy before me said. I have NEVER...except for once in an AWFUL club called Silver (for which the 2 bouncer's were fired on account of my complaining and following up) been so badly treated in a london bar or club. A girl friend and i were there on Saturday night, went to the bar to ask for cocktails, at which poin the "manager" grunted at us and told us there were no cocktails. Knowing this wasn't true as i'd been there once before, i protested saying we wanted a fruit and vodka something. After some debating he went to the other end of the bar and started to make what looked like a cocktail. I tried to interject, telling him my friend was allergic to oranges, and to try and specify what type of cocktail i wanted, but he literally rolled his eyes and ignored me. After a few minutes, of pretending i wasn't there and much bitching about having to make a cocktail to all the people waiting hopelessly at the bar, he handed us the drink, which tasted so sickly and sweet. I told him i didn't want to pay..and at least not the full price.. as i hadn't ordered it and i didn't like it. At this point he got much more aggressive, telling me a had to pay and that the drink was what i asked for, and left me with a bill for £17 for 2 cocktails! Ridiculous. DO NOT GO THERE. Oh, and all the people there were really unnatractive too!

Not sure about whoever left the review above but a bit gutting they didn't like the cocktail. I work just round the corner in Soho and we're avid regulars and it's a given, they only serve 5 or 6 cocktails upstairs as it's the resturant bar, right? They must've missed the ridiculously huge downstairs with cocktails galore and rather speedy barmen (and barwomen sorry). Never had a bad drink there. Given, on a Friday and Saturday it's packed so of course one may have to wait 1 or 2 minutes rather than being served straight away. They have good table service anyway. Doesn't matter, gives one a chance to have a look around at the talent. If you think people that go there are not attractive then you're basically slagging off the whole of Soho and beyond. Anyways, better luck next time hey. Zebrano bars are tip top.

Not sure what the reply is about. I also struggled to get cocktails served. Downstairs (basement) and first floor bars were unwilling (or unable to make a basic martini) as for the ground level floor, I did manage to get the manager (yes, he grunted for us also) to make martinis, but they were terrible. I've left my own review, but thought I'd add to this stream.

Let me tell the whole truth, I have signed up to this site only to tell you guys and girls do not go to Zebrano…it is terrible. The worst palce I have been. It's awful. For my wife’s birthday we booked a section for a minimum 20 people. When we got there, you could barely sit 4 people in those seats. When we told the staff that evening, they said "sorry nothing to do with us, speak to the manager". When we tracked the manager down she could not be bothered and said speak to the office as we don’t take bookings for that size crowd, although another manager that evening told us that the larger seats have a minimum 40 people booking. All very confusing. They did not want to take any responsibility.

Another point, if you get to the overcrowded bar, the bar staff ignore you for ages, they don’t seem to know who was waiting first, and then you pay ridiculos prices for drinks. The bouncers talk down to you (obviously they have nothing better to do). To sum up, the worst hospitality that I have experienced. The rudest staff that I have experienced. Unacceptable prices. Don't go to Zebrano - does not even deserve one star.

Downstairs small?! You must have to the wrong club! I have to admit on Friday nights and Saturday nights the place does get a bit packed, and I think downstairs is meant to be a "Lounge Bar" anyway therefore more heading towards social drinking than the Ibiza-styled dancing.

I will always go to Zebrano...the friendliest bar staff I have ever met, very good drinks prices (especially if you just sign up for free membership), and a great mix of clientele. LOVE IT

I would strongly recomend Zebranos as one of the best bar / clubs in London

Drinks are priced well for the West End, taste delicious and have the desired effect. Music's superb and lots of cute guys including one of the bar men! Thanks Zebrano and roll on the next time we can all go out to play.

I don't recommend Zebrano. Our booking for 20 people was lost and no effort was made to apologise or help us find seating, despite being there at 6.30pm. Furthermore, when the waitressing staff spills ketchup over you and the seating, one would expect her to apologise and clear it up. This was not the case.

The decor is nice, however, a member of our party being accused of partially ripping a drape simply beacuse he is tall is unacceptable, especially considering how packed it was and could have been anyone. When I made my points to the manager he would not accept responsibility for the lost booking and blamed us. I still await an apology.
