Lovely small restaurant with elegant decor and amazing food at really affordable prices. I have been here a few times and was so impressed had my birthday downstairs, which the owner reserved for me at no extra cost.

They do a great £15 starter platter where you get to choose 5 starters of your choice. We just told them what we didn't want and asked them to provide us with a selection. I am not too great with names but lovely aubergine dips, dolma, hummous and falafel. Freshly baked bread with olives are complimentary. All so fresh.

The mains are equally good, I had 25 people at my birthday and everyone was happy with their food. In particular lamb shank and the lamb stew (once again not sure of the names), others had fish and the vegetarians in our group were very happy.

The downsides - limited dessert selection and no fresh juices.

Overall I would give it five stars as have never been disappointed and had an amazing birthday celebration there. The prices are very affordable with mains between 8-12 pounds. I am always surprised at the bill - in a good way!
