The South Park Gardens fireworks display returns once again for Bonfire Night, promising a family friendly show specially designed for young children.

Low noise fireworks
Created with young ears in mind, the South Park Gardens fireworks display is perfect for children who might otherwise find Guy Fawkes Night a little overwhelming. The display features plenty of colour, but thanks to the low noise fireworks, more muted and muffled bangs than you might otherwise expect.

Family event
Taking over the small park for an evening of family friendly fun, the South Park Gardens fireworks display is set to light up the skies above Wimbledon as part of a popular and seasonal event. Expect plenty of community spirit at the event, where numbers are carefully controlled to keep things small and friendly.

Seasonal fun
2011 marks the 406th anniversary of the Gunpowder Plot, during which Guy Fawkes and his co-conspirators failed to blow up the Houses of Parliament. The South Park Gardens fireworks display marks the date in traditional style with a bonfire, fireworks, food and drink and stalls where kids can buy glow sticks and more seasonal trinkets.

The South Park Gardens fireworks display takes place on Saturday 5th November 2011. Gates open at 4.45pm, and the display itself begins at 6pm.

Please note that tickets for this event must be bought in advance: there are no tickets available on the gate. Advance tickets for the display have now sold out.
