Southwark Fireworks Display

Get your sparklers at the ready as Southwark Fireworks Display explodes onto Southwark Park in a cacophony of sights and sounds. With free entry and a family-friendly atmosphere, Southwark Fireworks Display is always one of the most popular London displays so if you’re nearby and looking for somewhere to go this is a great Bonfire Night choice.

More than just fireworks

The Southwark Fireworks Display is nicely traditional too, as it actually takes place on Bonfire Night itself, November the 5th. In addition to the host of roman candles, waterfalls, comets and mortars, the Southwark Fireworks Display will have family entertainment that includes a fire show from a performing troupe, and a little funfair that’s sure to keep the kids well entertained. The event will also have plenty of food stalls too, making sure you’re kept well fed and warm for when the display starts.

Free of charge

Possibly the best thing about this display is that those lovely people at Southwark Council have ensured it remains free of charge for another year. So dig out those hats and gloves, wrap up warm and head to a great fireworks display knowing full well you won’t be charged on the door. The event starts at 6.30pm, but the fireworks don’t start until 7.30pm so make sure you’ve picked yourself a prime spot by then – you won’t want to miss any of the great show.

The Southwark Fireworks Display takes place at Southwark Park, Lower Road. The entertainment starts at 6.30pm, with the fireworks display beginning at 7.30pm. Admission is free. The nearest tube is Canada Water.
