We are looking for a dynamic Sub Editor to join our ever expanding editorial team at an exciting time in the company's development. The right applicant will be a capable multi-tasker who loves working hard both as part of a team and independently and also prides themselves on their accuracy in editing at speed. You will also have previous experience in working online and managing a large team of freelancers to consistently hit target and brief.
Enthusiasm and an enquiring mind are both essential as you will be commissioning and editing work not only for London but across the entire UK. As a result, you'll need to be able to come in and hit the ground running.
The successful candidate will have at least six years editing and content management experience and be confident using Photoshop.
You will be based in our London office, working closely alongside two other Sub Editors and the Editor in addition to the rest of the editorial team.
Launched in 2001, ViewLondon is the capital's leading online entertainment guide with 1.5 million unique visitors each month. The website delivers up to the minute news, reviews and recommendations. 2008 is a very exciting year for the company which will see its national expansion - the rolling out of View websites for other major UK cities.
