The Acoustic Festival of Great Britain, to give it its full name, is one of the leading unplugged festivals in the UK, bringing a host of top acts to the Uttoxeter Racecourse. With the emphasis on using instruments that don’t need electric amplification, the Acoustic Festival of Great Britain promises a much softer sound to filter through the Staffordshire air.
Great line up
The line up for this year’s Acoustic Festival is once again impressive, with the likes of The Spinners, Cerys Matthews, Steve Harley, Hayseed Dixie, Fairport Convention, Fish (the Marillion frontman)and John Parr from St Elmo's Fire and many more all set to take to the stage. There are also plenty of other activities and events to keep you entertained, including workshops, soccer skills, the food hall, the comedy hour and a buskers’ stage.
